That’s what I get for looking at results from max preps

As far as Jasper goes my friend I am the source to turn to if/when the need arises. While MaxPreps has made leaps and bounds the past few seasons with having more accurate info. there is still lots of wiggle room for improvement.

So maybe not… irrelevant but doesn’t matter much. In 2019 Jasper beat WOS pretty handily during the regular season … Bellville beat Jasper 54-35 in the area round of the playoffs. Then the next week WOS beat Bellville.

I like the effort, but you have the wrong year. WOS game against Jasper was canceled the year we beat Belville.

mother nature and a dreaded virus kept us from playing before last weekend since '18.

hurricane, lighting, and protocol have been the cause of cancelations.

Man, I was trying to leave this alone, but I just cant... if performance against other teams is "irrelevant" then how can you make the assessment that Jasper is "not at Carthage's level"? Is that just a guess? Lol

I make the assessment by playing all 3 teams in the conversation. Jasper has a really good defense and so does Bellville. We played Carthage at home, Bellville at a neutral site and Jasper in Jasper. You can call it whatever you want but from what I saw playing all 3 teams Carthage is better than Jasper defensively. It’s not an insult to Jasper or Bellville. Most people who have played or watched Carthage compare their defense to the 83 Dangerfield defense. Regardless of where they rank all time it is the best defense we played against this year.

    • The fact that you try to bolster your assertion that Trump was a bad president by using "facts" that are not attributable to him is disinformation at it's worse. It is "lying by omission", which is just another way to say big ol' fat lie. Unemployment was going down to record lows before Covid hit. You and I and almost everyone on Earth knows this, but somehow you try to spin this stat as a knock on Trump. Same for the stock market. LYING BY OMISSION. A tactic almost as old as prostitution. The debt and spending exploding due to Trump is just an old fashioned bald face lie. You seem to follow the mantra "if you tell a lie enough times it becomes fact." You are starting to resemble Biden now. Do you have any other whoppers to share?
    • Intentionally keeping top secret documents haphazardly around the house comes to mind.  A lot of what came out of his mouth, torpedoing the political careers of republicans who didn’t fall in line?  I don’t know that he all of a sudden became a beacon of moral light and goodness just because he got into office. Again, we’re not talking about policy, but what kind of person he is.  If anything he seemed to get worse once he was in power as far as I could see.
    • Then find his stats and post them. The site i got them from could be wrong. Woodville site. With a QB already rated no. 1 by A&M and two elite running backs, Woodville will  have no problem with newton.   Newton - nothing to see here.  😀
    • Probably looking at a seeding and a play in game on Saturday from this district. I could be wrong but that is just my opinion.
