Yea, you and your buddies are REAL sharp, you got rid of that nasty Trump for what we have now because of your thin skin.

Nice job.

You're really missing the point. I highly doubt CB voted for Biden, and he's certainly not advocating for him.

Just keep doing you.  That's what Trump did.  Insult half the country for how stupid they are, then act shocked when half the country showed up and voted him out of office.

Oh I will, but I'll be out of here before it gets too bad.  If biden is any indication, I certainly don't want to be around to see some of the future brilliant selections you younger folks will make.

I really don't care, he makes stupid statements like folks like us wet ourselves when Trump speaks, so I feel free to lump him in with the biden voters...he seems to fit well there, sure does attempt to make their case.

Say what you want about Trump.....He did pretty good considering how the media and lots of politicians went after him.  I can't think of anyone in my lifetime that had the popularity of this man and got people actively involved in politics......

What should concern everyone is that the government is letting private companies silence his voice. While some of you may applaud that, what are you going to do when it's "your guy" ?

Biden will not run in 2024.....No way......I don't think he could remain silent and not talk to the media if he did. If Kamala runs or end up President before 2024, she was at the bottom of the line up when she threw her hat in for President.....She is not and will not be popular.....

Biden might as well be Trump's Campaign manager.....I don't think anyone is helping Trump more than Biden for a 2024 run........Gas prices, pricing on EVERYTHING, promised and failed to fix covid, screwed up leaving Afghanistan, left US Citizens behind, the southern border is a mess......that is just rambling off the top of my head......Also Dems will be helpless when the house and senate are taken again by Republicans......

So while there is no guarantee that Trump will win (or run for that matter), politically they are in BAD shape.....they can't even pass bills in the Senate with Kamala as tie breaker.....

I think DeSantis wins 2024 in a landslide, if he runs on his own ticket and doesn’t jump on the crazy train with Trump. Team D has been awful, as everyone expected. I live in liberal utopia land and even the people here absolutely hate Biden.. they just so happen to hate Trump more.

I personally don’t think Biden or Trump run in 2024.. if they do, god help us all.. I’m not religious but I will start daily praying 🙏

I think a lot of people like Trump because they believe that he's the man that they secretly wish they could be.  They wish that they had the backbone to just say whatever they wanted to anybody.  They wish they could tell their boss where to to go.  They look at their wife and wish that they, too, could bag a beautiful broad that sounds like Natasha from Rocky and Bullwinkle.  They wish that they, too, had the money to install gold plated faucets in their trailer house, but they don't.  But their God does.  Trump 2024.

And old folks are too stubborn and too rigid to acknowledge that the younger generations have completely different politics as the boomers.  I side with you conservative folks on most issues, but the whole "the left is so dumb because they're not like us" argument just doesn't fly anymore.  I don't like a lot of the things that they do, but that's not going to change the fact that they're gaining more and more control politically, and their politics and beliefs are affecting serious change.  Insulting young folks and democrats isn't going to help.  Just ask (ex)president trump.

Old folks knows what works cause they ve lived it.

dumb is dumb no matter how you shake it. And truth hurts …..sadly standing true is now considered insulting

We are headed the wrong way and I don’t see that changing even if a conservative is elected in 2024

the only hope would be something major happening world wide and NO THE PANDEMIC was not it.

Or

to be quite frank even though I’m against all the foreigners coming in you would think that these foreigners that are now citizens and have been wouldn’t vote for liberals givin we’re they came from (dictatorships, genocide, socialism, communism, starvation, etc. ) but i see why they fall victim to liberals fools gold of handouts……they had nothing before and so it looks like liberals actually care.

so maybe just maybe the foreigners could steer us back.

the left have moved the line so far left that conservatives come off as extremist…..when the true extremist are the left……the left provided the paint and the media is the brush.

The only problem is that instead of welcoming immigrants like the hard-working, God-loving, family people that they are, we line up behind a president that accuses them of all being rapists and criminals and chant "built the wall!! Send them back!!!"   But then we wonder why they want to vote liberal.

The politics of many of these young folks are heading us in a bad direction...many want free school, free healthcare, the list goes on.  They have no idea what made this country so great, it sure wasn't free stuff.

The left that I refer to is not dumb at all, just the opposite, it's the folks in Washington, but a lot of their constituents, while maybe not dumb, they are very ignorant of what's going on.  Anyone that voted for Biden and is now surprised at what is going on fits that description.  That that group will have to be catered to does not bode well for our future.

And just to be clear, you are not the problem and when I complain about the left, it ain't you I'm talking about.  Even though we may disagree on some points, I can tell your position is based on research and reasoning.  Lots of folks that vote don't bother to learn about who they're voting for, their policies and their past.  And I know that goes both way, but the last election proved the touch feely ignorant vote is heavily weighted left.

That is fair and I would take DeSantis over Trump. I just hope DeSantis does not bow down to the pressure and makes good decisions. Trumps policies were good. Trump tried to keep every promise made, although he couldn't.  I also agree if Trump endorses DeSantis, he should win "bigly" LOL

I hope for a Trump/DeSantis ticket. That way we could possibly have a conservative president for 12 years (DeSantis for two terms after). I’ll be dead by then and can enjoy the time I do have left.

As for the younger generation, it’s not their fault. They have been indoctrinated for the most part. At least we have young people chanting F Biden at college football games. Maybe there is hope.

Loved hearing that chant.  Also heard it at the Mets/Yankees series, which was shocking coming from there.  Maybe biden is turning away Dim voters as some have suggested is what happened to Trump.

I can’t wait to blame the future gen AA (they’re gonna need AA by the time it’s their turn), and their median home price of $2 million on $7.92/hr minimum wage

back in my day, we had REAL bootstraps!

I completely agree with everything in your statement.  What I’m trying to say is that sometimes we tend to dismiss people because their ideas don’t make sense, but this is dangerous because there is still power in their numbers.  No matter how bad someone’s politics are, if enough people agree with them then there’s a danger that those politics will be forced on everyone, and we’re seeing that now. So the problem I had with your statement was this: it might be “their fault” for voting out trump because he hurt their feelings, but he still got voted out, and we’re still having to deal with Biden because of it.  Part of the responsibility of a politician is to be appealing to as many voters as possible, and trump failed miserably in this area.  We’re all now paying the price for this.  I don’t particularly care for him as a person, but I wish like heck he would’ve toned it down a little and got re-elected, because for the most part I thought the country was in a pretty good place under him.  That was the only point I was really trying to make.

Higher education has become a bad joke....  It's too expensive, and the value of a degree has diminished as more people get them.  I can't imagine trying to start out with $100k in student loan debt.  When I was going to college in the early 90s, a kid could scrape up $1500 to pay for a semester of school during the summer if he was willing to work a little.  There's no way that a kid can scratch up $5k over the course of a summer to pay for that same semester of school.

The last number that I read claimed that almost 60% of Americans paid no income tax in 2020, partly because of gifts from the Treasury because of Covid.  It's hard to exist when the people who don't pay taxes actually set the spending/taxes.  It's like loading the family up to go out and eat, and the kids picking what we're gonna eat because there are three kids in the back seat and they keep out-voting mom and dad up front.

And god forbid you want to go to a bigger school.  It would cost me my annual salary to attend a couple of semesters at bigger public schools, and that’s a salary with a degree.

You can see my reply to lumraiderfan as my reply to this.  It’s the same point I was making to you.  And I’ve seen a steady shift in the Hispanic vote moving right, especially in the older folks.  They generally work hard and support a lot of the same things that you and I do.

Trump turned them away with arrogance, Biden with ineptitude.  While I’d gladly take arrogance over ineptitude every time, having a little class and humility goes a long way towards endearing yourself to the American people, which goes a long way towards getting you re-elected
