After an incredible run of defeating 4 straight undefeated teams, Crosby gets a break and plays a 12-1 team.

No seriously, after this amazing run for Crosby, including two OT thrillers, I cant imagine they have enough left in the tank to match Aledo.

Well Eazy, you’ve been on us all year. Even when we played your boys. I fully respect your decision to jump off the wagon before we go into the fire. Looks like it’s going to be nothing but the kamikazes from here on out🛩

Surviving the gauntlet to get to Aledo, I wouldn't put anything past Crosby.

Crosby 36

Aledo 35

Rings or not I think we had/have a better chance against Aledo than we did against Liberty Hill. Conventional spread team we’ve been playing excellently against every game since Montgomery.

Remember what we said about FBM not being the same FBM as years past? Same thing can be said for this version of Aledo. They’re probably even more gettable this year than the squad that lost to College Station in ‘17.

True, I’ve been on a different wagon all year but I have really enjoyed the last few exits up the road with y’all.  Thanks for driving.  I might still find my way up to Arlington on Friday.  We’ll see.

If Crosby pulls this off, somebody needs to write a book.  Definitely been a bright spot to take our mind off an otherwise difficult 2020 year.

I’ve been going to Crosby games faithfully for 44 years. Needless to say, I’m a little pumped up after last night. I hope they don’t limit the number of tickets sold, or I’ll be “storming” the stadium to gain access.

The Cotton & Rose Bowls at JerryWorld were limited to 18,000.  I haven’t heard what they are doing for State yet, but you better buy tickets pretty quick.

You have to remember -- Crosby is going up against an elite coached team.  I don't think we can say what they did against other Spread teams has much weight here.  Unless these other Spread teams had an elite coach.  Again, just my opinion!

Fort Bend Marshall’s coach is pretty elite. Five consecutive regional final appearances, back to back state finals appearances, 51-7 overall record the last four years. He played Aledo better on his second try, 45-42, last year in the title game. FBM has probably been the second best spread team in D2 the last few years and Crosby held them to 28. Same round Aledo struggled to hold Lovejoy under 50.

It’s easy to pick Aledo, as it was easy to pick TH, Huntsville, & FBM.  Even LH was undefeated, although their competition belied their strength.  No doubt Aledo will be the favorite, but records don’t measure the heart at Crosby.

As Eazy pointed out, do they have enough left in the tank?  I durn sure hope so.  I wouldn’t bet much against them, for durn sure.

Aledo coach:   6 state Titles              Fort Bend Marshall Coach:  0 state titles.

Not saying FBM's coach is not good.  Just saying not yet on the level of Aledo's coach.

Those DFW teams have a huge advantage when it comes to travel.  It would be interesting if the COOGS can jump right on em and make the game a dogfight just like they have the past few weeks.  I just hope the travel, playing at Jerrysworld, and the aura of Aledo isn’t too much.  It would’ve been nice to have had a game at NRG during this run.  There’s just something about this team though and I’ll be there pulling for them.

5, 4, 3, 7, and up next is 2.  Never seen a run like it!
