Couldn't agree more. Great season for Nederland. At this point of playoffs it is about match ups and Nederland didn't match up well. Looking forward to next week if Nederland were to get by FBM I was

FBM is solid, but Ned was so bad on Saturday that I could list pages and pages of teams that would have beat the crap out of us, including Crosby. If Dunn is healthy, I think Crosby will win this game

Yes they did!!  Crosby fans heads should be huge!!!  This is a HUGE win for them.  I’m so happy for the kids and community after suffering so Much crap the last few years.   Strut around a little Crosby fans!  I’ll Watch and cheer you on!!!

He has some nice offers for football and basketball. He needs to realize that they aren't going to tolerate that at the D1 level.

Yeah, never like to lose but I think Ned beating Crosby that way exposed what we were susceptible to at the perfect time. Played the exact same role C.E. King did in 2014. Crazy part is that Ned scored the same 29 points on Crosby that Huntsville did and point more than FBM.

Exactly, kid acts like a punk.  Ref asked him for the ball and he spun it down in front of him. I told 14.2 after the Nederland game that #15 is going to run into the wrong officiating crew and have problems. I was shocked how much crap the refs put up with out of him last week

This was a very bad call by an official who was way away from the play. It could have totally changed the game if the correct call was made. I don’t think FBM would have recovered from that

I watched the game on Texanlive. Yeah he is something else. It was only a matter of time. Also saw what the Nederland fans were referring to about the coaches.

      Exactly. Of course changing realignment to make matchups more fair helps, but fairness always helps, and that shouldn’t be a knock against PNG. But, they created the fixed divisions in what, 2018? How did PnG do in that setup before Joseph showed up? Elite coaching mixed with good players and good luck, and a level playing field, yeah that helps a lot. But for anyone trying to say PNG had it easy, why don’t the other 120-ish teams in 5aD2 do just as well?

      It’s not a land issue, it’s a demographic issue. The population in PN-GISD is getting younger. Old folks are dying off, and their homes are being bought by young families moving in with increasing frequency. Factor in that PN-GISD is more attractive than some of its neighbors right now thanks to the newer schools, the quality of education and the recent extracurricular success, and you have an easy explanation for the ~20% enrollment growth that’s occurred over the last ten years while the neighboring Jefferson County districts have all either flat-lined or shrunk. You also have an explanation for Groves posting the highest growth rate in the county and the third highest in the MSA on the 2020 census. We’re a lot closer to 5ADI numbers than people realize.
