Nope of course not, just try to not be blatantly biased.

I’m not defending anyone or anything.  I wasn’t there.  Just stating that sometimes penalties/fouls will seem lopsided for no other reason than it actually was.  Comparing the number of flags thrown per team won’t convince me.

Alright boys, we are gonna set the record straight on the officiating for the Deweyville game.  Here are the official stats for HD Offense vs. Deweyville Defense:

HD had 92 Total yards before penalties on both sides were assessed.  H-D had 95 yards in penalties offensively, and should have had more considering they were false starting on the majority of their plays (Only 5 were called).  They were also called for illegal formation and delay of game.  Deweyville had 40 yards in penalties defensively,  leaving HD with 43 total yards of offense.

Overall, Deweyville had 6 penalties for 60 yards.  HD had 14 penalties for 125 Yards.  5 of HD's penalties were personal fouls with 3 being unsportsmanlike conduct.  Can't drop the F-bomb on the ref or throw your helmet.

After all penalties assessed to both sides, Deweyville had 445 yards of Total Offense.

Hope this helps clear things up.

Peace

This makes me question the character of HD more than the character of the officials.

HD’s full back Aguirre alone rushed for 96 TD’s and 2 scores, just seen it in the Liberty Vindicator, both teams were up and down the field all night. This is fake news! Heck HD had 200 yards in donated ref yards against them, our best player kicked out in 1st quarter, still a close game. They play again all those stars don’t align for the Pirates again...

You "seen" it, did you?  Sorry bud, but those are the official game stats, and the penalties off the official's report.

Not true. If you know football, you know if one team has almost 500 yards on offense, the opponent only 96 yards, the score is going to be like 50-0 or worse. Especially with 200 yards in gifts from the DV homer ref. You gotta be a newbie to football. The final was 30-22, heck it was tied up most of the game. 🤦🏻‍♂️

    • Poster I guess forgot about 2022 Port Arthur Memorial as well. (3rd round lost was to Longview who won Region 2). And last year that 1st round game was against Forney who won Region 2 as well.
    • FBM made it to the 4th round in 22-23. If that’s “weak,” I don’t know what “strong” is.
