4A-1A Week 4 Game Cancellations/Changes

Post any cancellations or game changes for this week here in this thread.

 

It is very likely that the Splendora at Hamshire-Fannett game will be canceled. Major outbreak of COVID cases at Hamshire-Fannett high school. School has been shut down.

 

Also, Silsbee ISD has reported a COVID positive student at the high school. No official word on school closure or game cancellation just yet.

Waggoner told me yesterday they were still playing. I’ll reach out again today. A total of 3 positive cases were released by the district. One varsity football player, a second grader and a principal.

HF game is still on this week. Will know more tomorrow.

The only one that I know of in our "area" that canceled (so far) was New Waverly at Hardin.  Hardin substituted Hearne, whom New Waverly canceled on last week.
