Yes, but not the same classification as EC.  However,  Refugio is the same type of beast in 2a.  Thats why they've been on top for 3-4 decades.

Only 11 players can be on the field at a time. TBH look at some of the better teams and you will find players playing both ways with a lot of players on the bench. The best man plays.

I can't say that it is never the coaches.  But it isn't in Lumberton. 

This is a coach that has put Lumberton in the area round the last 2 years in a row.  That has never been done before, EVER.

I simply can not fathom what Chris Babin is going to have to do to win over the support of some folks in Lumberton.

Just be glad Lumberton didn’t have to move up to 5A it looked like they were before they shifted the realignment numbers. You’ve got 2 more years to complete for the playoffs until they move up in my opinion.

That's not enough for some around Hardin county, but at least Lumberton ain't hating on the qb.

3-2 the last 2 seasons in district and lucked out and played an awful Wheatley team in the first round.  If I remember correctly they went deeper in 2006 or 2007.

It was 2007 and 2008.  Do you happen to know who the OC on those 2 teams was?

Someone asked earlier if it was the kids lack of mental toughness.  On this board it can never be the coach.  It is always the kids I just don't buy that.

It comes down to Lumberton community to support him. The kids  need to get in the weight room and stopped being spoiled. I’m not even a Lumberton guy and  I make joke with those guys a lot but I promise You right now I would not have a problem with him comIng to LCM.

Look deeper at those schedules pre-historic is normally loaded up with much smaller schools to pad the record.

He has been trying to leave for 3 years and can't get hired anywhere else.  Has nothing to do with support from the community if you act like a jerk people are never going to support you.

He is a good person and coaches hard. He is now 27-28 at lumberton. He does a great job of getting people to play. His 1st head coaching job was Houston Scarborough who is always bad. He did about as good as you can do. Dewey I’ll was his 2nd head coaching stint and he did well because the players had some toughness. Warren had players that were very soft, slow, and used to losing. At lumberton, they are slow, soft, and have low expectations
