Would a player that only wants white teamates be tolerated?

Of course not. Any player wanting whites only as teamates would be immeadiatly be kicked off the team and expelled. He would never ever play again. The school would call a press conference and gush about “no tolerance of hate speech’, The white athlete in question would be ripped to shreds on CNN and ESPN, and he would be branded a racist for life.

East of here, this very thing just happend. Colton Franks, formerly of LaGrange HS in Lake Charles, just left ULL to transfer to Southern U. Franks said "he needed to go to a HBC in order "to be with his people”. Did anyone even notice this? Certainly not CNN or ESPN. Of course not. Franks gets a pass.

Interesting.  It’s a baseball topic, but still an interesting topic.  I did some research and apparently he transferred because ULL was not playing him enough or wasn’t utilizing him like he felt he should and wanted the best shot at the league, so he transferred to a school that will utilize him.   I see nothing about wanting to play with his people.

Why did this young man bring up George Floyd? George Floyd was a criminal!!! Here is a quote from Candace Owens about this criminal that everyone seems to think was a hero.

No one thinks that he should have died in his arrest, but what I find despicable to be is that everyone is pretending that this man lived a heroic lifestyle when he didn’t. …I refuse to accept the narrative that this person is a martyr or should be lifted up in the black community. …He has a rap sheet that is long, that is dangerous. He is an example of a violent criminal his entire life — up until the very last moment.”

Here’s George Floyd’s criminal activities before using counterfeit money.

This young man made a decision to transfer from one school to another and part of his reasoning is based on the life and death of a criminal. I don’t get it.

George Floyd's so called criminal past has nothing to do with how he was handled during his last interaction with law enforcement. No one should have a knee thrust in their neck for nearly 9 minutes while three other officers look on, no matter what he might have been accused of.

It's alleged he had a counterfeit bill. The worst that should have happened is take the bill for evidence and write the man a ticket.

Do you have any sympathy for your fellow man? Did your heart not break seeing injustice?

A lot of people were stirred to righteous anger. We gotta a lot to fix in this country. Maybe momentum is on our side this time.

BTW, Ty Cobb is a well known bigot in the baseball world. If there's a man who doesn't belong in Cooperstown for morality, it's him. Maybe you might want to switch your handle up before you get confused for him.

I’m sure he doesn’t mind getting confused for what he is.

My point is why make a criminal out to be a hero? George Floyd was no hero.  Why not make this so called movement on the countless death’s that happened this weekend? Why not make it about the 8 year old that was shot and killed in her mother’s car? Why not make it about the man that was shot and killed while walking with his child? Do those lives matter?

Cobb wasn’t just a bigot, he hated everyone equally. I will never be confused for him because I couldn’t hit like he could.

I’m the world’s biggest outspoken loud mouth, but let’s keep this crap in the political forum. Whatcha think? And the only reason these very isolated incidents are so publicized is because people make such a big deal about it. It’s one kids goofy decision. Let it go.

Did you care about George Floyd or what happened to him? What if that was your son, brother, or dad. Like I said SETX is the absolute most racist part of Texas.

Idk. Plain ole east Texas could give us a run for our money.
Seriously though, Maybe CB is saying that people die every day over horrible things and mostly not from cops. Where’s the outrage? Maybe he’s saying that the 7000 + blacks killed each year by their own race should lead to outrage too, but it doesn’t. Maybe CB is saying that (hold your breath) All Lives really do matter, but we are only concentrating on a select few. Maybe he’s trying to say that he’s sick and tired of defending himself for being white! Hell, I don’t know what he’s saying, he’s always saying silly crap like that all the time (notice the tongue in cheek).

Here is what I know, hell yes blacks killing blacks is bad. I also know that's cops who are sworn to protect have killed close to 50 innocent people of color over the past 8 years. George Floyd, Brianna Taylor, the kid in Georgia etc.... We are on 2 different topics but I get what your saying. The protest were for injustice. If your white you have no view of how it feels to be treated different because of the color of your skin. Imagine being racially profiled? I have! My wife has! In my own neighborhood and I made sure to get the cop fired as I was the HOA President that year. Maybe what I'm saying is if your not trying to solve the problem, maybe you are the problem. White people feel uncomfortable when racism is discussed. I dont believe in any hand out but earn your own. It's hard to earn your own if the person hiring dont want you there due to your color.

Never said I didn't care.  I'm saying all these radicals need is a opportunity burn, pilfer and loot.   You tell me:  What does stealing TV's and baby diapers have to do with Floyd's death?  Oh, BTW, what state do you live in?

Texas!!! There were white, hispanic, and black people looting and studies showed 95% weren't even with the peaceful protesters. Understand for every good event, there will be people who come to tear down and destroy. I've seen arrest at the rodeo, Texans game, conventions etc... You can't judge the peaceful people by the ignorance of others who came to steal. I didnt agree with that either. It was dumb and I hope every single one is arrested.

I could see the top of the next few recruiting classes got to PVAMU, Hampton, Southern, Grambling, Howard, TSU, Famu, etc........ Kids have talent, the NFL will want you. If all of the African American kids decided to go the HBCU route, it will look much like the 40s, 50s, and 60s when there were teams in the SWAC that had 11 NFL players and they would crush Texas, Notre Dame, or Bama.

I would love to see more of the top recruits go to HBCUs.

50 “innocent” in 8 years? Nice of you to determine “innocence” based solely on skin color. How do those 50 compare to the approximately 60,000 black lives taken by black hands in the same time frame? That is why the saying and the organization BLM is a joke to any rational person.

All jokes aside.... why would a business person want to hire an employee who thinks as you do? You assume that anybody from SETX is probably racist, while complaining that a cop is wrong for assuming that you are likely a criminal as so many young black men are. You literally are what you claim to hate.

Those schools’ boosters don’t pay as well as the Power 5 schools do.
Rumor has it that Scam Newton won’t make as much this year as he did at Auburn.

    • Yeah, I got that but talk about a stretch. It should seem obvious that Trump’s prosecution is purely political. If someone is going to do a whataboutism, at least make it similar.  This is so ludicrous that it’s like comparing a ham sandwich to a wallet.
    • You consistently try to say Trump ran our debt up and that the stock market and job market cratered during his administration (along with other MSNBC talking points). That is a flat out LIE, and you know it. Not only are you telling a mistruth, you knowingly are telling a mistruth...which is a blatant LIE...which makes you a "(I don't remember what word you used to describe Trump, something like a purse for dirt)" does it not? You know for a fact that the economy, stock market, and job market was thriving under Trump. You know that the Democrats controlled the house, and proposed a budget that would hurt the economy, in which he shut down the government. Even after this fiasco brought on by Democrats, our economy flourished under his administration. Then Covid19 hit, and the blue states shut down the country. YOU KNOW THIS, but continue to blame Trump. You lie...blatantly. Again, what do we call these people that partake in disseminating misleading information. You coined it...that purse thing. Does the shoe fit? I bet it does. It is amazing that you try to put "MAGA people" into this little box for the soul purpose of allowing all negative attributes of anyone that will vote for Trump instead of Biden to be attributed. That is a sickening modus operandi of stupid people. It is hard for me to believe that you would adopt that childish stereotyping. But since you are willing, I'm willing to push back. I'm a Trump supporter. I will gladly vote for him over Biden. So get busy putting me in your silly little box of stereotypes so I can embarrass you some more. You've been shot down by practically everyone on this board when you say stuff like Trump is their Messiah, or that supporters overlook his flaws. Everyone on this board has stated that they don't agree with Trump on much of his behavior, but you ignore these statements and continue with your lies. Oh yeah, since I'm a Trump supporter, those comments were also directed directly at me. So let's go. Prove I'm a simpleton that will ignore all of Trump's flaws and vow to disown the bad ol' orangeman. Let's continue that diatribe you peddle. I now am interested in responding. I also have boxes I can place people in. Whose box is accurate? Better yet, whose box is more embarrassing? I'm fairly certain your box is more entertaining for the board to make fun of. TDS should be included in the DSM-6, or revise the DSM-5 to include it since this phenomenon is so pervasive now. You are a walking, talking picture of Trump Derangement Syndrome. Do you like that box? Can you refute the rationale for placing you in that box. Everyone can refute your rationale for placing them into your irrational box, while you languish in your TDS box.
    • Clinton got impeached because of it. David Pecker said it was true about Stormy today. Under oath.
    • Election interference. Cheating.
    • It’s not about worrying about Trump’s morality. It’s about him being held to a totally hypocritical standard that is applied to anybody else that’s not him. Double it if it happens to be a Democrat. What he did to Ted Cruz in 2016, for example. Accused him of extramarital affairs. Really? And the gang cheered the Master on. Sick is what it is.
