The best team I’ve seen here since the undefeated Perkins-led Ozen team was the state semi finalist Central team (2012?).  Never convince me that if Toe doesn’t go down in the first quarter against Kimball, that team doesn’t win state.

2013-14. That team was beyond loaded and i’d agree best team sends then. Crazier thought is the Ozen team from the same year wouldn’t be too far behind. Imagine United then.

1994/95 PA Lincoln

2016/17 Silsbee

1992 Hardin Jefferson

Any of those Great Hebert Teams.

Any suggestions....

Let’s not forget the 94-95 team that split with Lincoln and lost to them in regional finals in overtime the best team Silsbee had pound for pound

I like the Port Arthur Memorial state team along with a few others already posted. Titans the best 3pt shooting state title team from here I've seen in awhile as far as a bigger classification school. That Lincoln team was just flatout clutch in 95. Ozen squad overall had it all.

‘84-‘85 Tigers. I’ll take that pound for pound and raise you. Was #1 most of the season lost to Lincoln at home. We dropped to #3 and Lincoln took over the #1 spot. Then we repaid Lincoln by beating them at the Beehive and we regained the #1 spot. Lost to that Smith character and his team in the regional final by three points. Only lost two games all year.

Steven Jacksons Lincoln Team and the 31 and 0 Tigers

The 31-0 tigers lost in the 1st round of the playoffs if my memory serves me correct. Quite a few great Tigers teams can be on the list, but I wouldn’t put that one on there.

31-1 Tigers would go toe fo toe with most teams on that list and might have been better than the state champ Tigers. Remember this is a Tigers team who beat Lincoln, Central, and West Brook by 15-20pts each. They were the only Tiger team I know who was ranked in USA Today!.  This was a era of less high schools and 4A would be the current 5A for alot of schools.

He must have a tie with that team I remember everyone on that team and I was in high school with them and I don’t believe any getting significant time in 1995 ijs

    • Poster I guess forgot about 2022 Port Arthur Memorial as well. (3rd round lost was to Longview who won Region 2). And last year that 1st round game was against Forney who won Region 2 as well.

    • FBM made it to the 4th round in 22-23. If that’s “weak,” I don’t know what “strong” is.
