Stangs with an easy one. Jump ball fades will not be very useful against WO-S and WO-S stacks the best box in town to handle the runners.  34-7 Stangs

U know I ask the question all the time.with all that talent why want they try other routes with other guys.and every now and then they try to sneak rb  out the backfield. They could be so explosive if they ever mixed it up.

Did silsbee and jasper play each other this year?

No. Barbay stopped scheduling Silsbee last year. They last played in 2017. In fact, Silsbee has won the last 5 of 6 against Jasper. That might had something to do with it along with a few other things.

Couple of things.  That kid didnt play baseball,  soccer, tennis, badminton,  or anything like that,  but he canceled Silsbee on EVERYTHING.   Seems like someone was a little sensitive I'd you ask me.  Also, that kid graduated last year.   Nothing stopped them from scheduling Silsbee this year for anything.   That didnt happen.  But hey.  'You  like it, I love it'...

In Barbay's defense, schedules are made every two years. He could not have scheduled Silsbee this year because of the two year agreements.

I’ve heard if you beat Barbay to many times he will take you off the schedule.  Lol

I wonder who allowed Barbay to not schedule Silsbee in anything....hmmm

How long ago was that?

Truth be told. When Jasper and Silsbee meet someone is fighting. It happened one year with Basketball. Silsbee player injured his hand, then the hit on the QB. It has nothing to do with fear or win lose status. They will meet in the playoffs hopefully.

Coach T speaking of district 10-4A-II...

“I think we are all pretty even with the exception of Silsbee."

Yeah, Coach T is way off on his assessment. Must be propaganda article for the Mustangs. Both teams love to run the ball, Mustangs pass a little more than the Tigers. Both defense are built to stop the run and both secondary are not where they would like to be. As always special teams will be huge and ball security will be crucial. Penalties will play a part and the timing of the penalties. If the Tigers can match the intensity the Mustangs bring I can see a good game here. The Tigers are young, not many players from last years state semi final run. A lot of first time players on varsity, a lot of first time starters playing on varsity for the Tigers.

As long as story is told "like it really is" I have no issues at all. Any Jasper is scared, etc type versions are not the case. Come on, the two schools played for nearly a century!

And now Jasper won't.

There's nothing wrong with the fact that y'all don't want NONE of what Silsbee is slinging.  Football, basesball, golf, one act play.... nothing.

I understand that Officer Barbrady even got the Spelling "Bee" for Jasper Elementary cancelled.... just to be safe.

Tigers defense can not stop the run. That was proven against Newton. Mustangs defense is much like Newton. I’ve seen them play. Tonight’s game will be one for the books. If the rain don’t hinder.

So, your basing Silsbee run defense on one game. Good.

    • Ok, just for fun, list the Trump policies / actions that make him as dirty and immoral as they come. Please don't use the democrat talking points, actual actions that make him dirty, that never seemed to show up UNTIL he was President. And without a doubt you have swallowed the orange man bad koolaid unlike some of us that can dislike the guy and still not make him the worst thing walking, but that seems to be your way, all one way or the other in a debate. 🙂
    • I STRONGLY disagree with this assertion, and you're just making my point for me by trying to say that Biden's corruption is somehow way worse than Trump's with a straight face.  Trump's politics (or at least the politics that suit him) just align with mine significantly more than Biden's.  They're two peas in a pod, but on different sides of the aisle.  I'm sure if I was a diehard conservative all of his issues would seem like minor indiscretions or witch hunts, and if I was a rabid liberal old Sleepy Joe would seem like a strong president who didn't really do much wrong.  But yeah, bless my heart for not swallowing the orange koolaid
    • No one that I know is stumping for Trump because he's the poster boy of integrity, they simply know he's the best choice BY FAR between the two and has been the victim of ridiculous witch hunts since before he was President, that's what folks have a problem with, the crooked lying democrats, but folks like to make it more about Trump than the real problem. And to state that Trump is about as immoral and dirty as they come is ridiculous, I don't like him either but he isn't close to being as corrupt as the crime family in the White House, and you know it. As far as hating on CB, not at all, but he has been ate up with TDS for a while now and it sounds like it may be wearing off on you a little bit, lol.   Bless your hearts!
    • Newton will also have a lot of size, strength, and experience up front. That will probably be the most significant advantage vs Woodville
    • There's a lot of irony in this post.  You're right, if he was a lefty the liberals wouldn't say a word. But because he's a republican, the righteous right is giving Trump a hard pass on stuff that they've absolutely bombed the left for doing for as long as I've been alive, and are actually feigning indignation about the left criticizing his behavior.  Y'all can hate CB all you want, but he's correct on this one.  the conservative outrage over the left's character assassinations of Trump is hilarious.  Trump is about as immoral and dirty as they come, and it's a real mind bender watching conservative Christians stump so hard for him, especially when Christian values and morality has supposedly been the backbone of the republican party all this time.  And as always, I'll put in my disclaimer that I thought he did a decent job as president and will be voting for him in the election, so nobody throws TDS at me.
