Well Navy Dog I guess it’s up to us. The rest must be on field watering duty. Should we talk about each other’s mothers now or wait a while?

Field watering duty started last night bud, after the homecoming bomb fire was put out by the great people of NFD. They left the water hoses out and running to the field for us, giving it a few extra days to soak the field.

This is game 2 of district with Nederland already 1-0. In the famous words of Aaron Rodgers “R-E-L-A-X”  This 1 game wont define the season,  and sure in hell won’t define if Nederland makes the playoffs or anything still several games left, anything can happen with this district.

You are right. You can always celebrate stomping a team at the bottom of the district. Its all good for 1-4 (oops) I mean 1-3 Ned...Just relax!

Of course I’m right. Per usual. Thanks for the clarification. But in your terrible logic (that you have yet to answer from previous post btw) Crosby, Lee, Dayton and Santa Fe are all the same level right now since they are 0-1 at the bottom.

Does Nederland have turf yet? I thought it was supposed to be done by now. Coach Barrow is going to be googling “Sprinkler system for turf,” when they do get it, in any case.

Not yet , but after BH destroys the end zones Friday  they may have to get started.

The RB runs hard for a Soph. I've been impressed with him. Can't remember his name though.

Garret Hagler. The kid is a stud, I thought he may need a year to adjust , but he is running over folks!

I am a bit indecisive on this game. Nederland is a bit down this season so far. BH is on somewhat of a high right now. That alone tells me BH should win. However Nederland has made a living winning these very games with smart football and usually pretty good coaching. I have BH picked but I am just not sure I’ll stick with it.

    • Poster I guess forgot about 2022 Port Arthur Memorial as well. (3rd round lost was to Longview who won Region 2). And last year that 1st round game was against Forney who won Region 2 as well.
    • FBM made it to the 4th round in 22-23. If that’s “weak,” I don’t know what “strong” is.
