2015 UIL Region 10 Marching Band Contest

It's that time of year folks! The annual Region 10 Marching Band Competition!

Here is the schedule for the contest. It will be at PNG Stadium on October 17. This is a state year for the 1A, 2A, 3A, and 5A classifications.

Once again, I will be attending the contest to record all the bands and post to youtube when I get back to Houston.

Thanks for the videos from Galena Park this past weekend, Rocketfan. Proud of our BCHS marching band! They made an impressive showing against 5A and 6A schools placing 1st in the 4A division and 8th over all (out of 30 bands).

No problem! I when I saw Bridge City was going to be at Galena Park, i thought they would beat at least half the bands there. They will should be a force to reckon with for years to come in Region 10 if they keep the staff they have now. Unfortunately when you get to Area marching contest, the 4As in North Texas (Region 4) are a different beast altogether.

I'll be in PNG in about 2 weeks. I hope my batteries don't die before the final band. I missed the North Shore band Saturday because both of them ran out.

Tomorrow's the big day! I ordered an additional battery and have lots of memory to record all the bands + Lamar University.

I wish I could edit the first post and put the results there but I cannot. In the old forum, I could do that.
