1. Gonna be another battle! Let’s GO Eagles!!!!
 2. Believe this will be a tough one! Let’s go Eagles!!!!!💪
 3. Shouldn't have expected anything different. They've been that way since the 1980's...that's their MO.
 4.
BH34 your post was too long to quote in its entirety but your assessment of Ozen's defense leaves me with one question.  If your basing that on the fact BH was able to move the ball effectively, then are ou also saying that BH's offense is not good? Just curious....
All I read on these post is how sorry our district is, and the only reason we ever win is because we play weak teams. So, according to that, I assume we must have a horrible offense and defense. Well, that weak offense pushed a great defense all over the field...wouldn't that have to be the fact acording to the assessments made by most across the Trinty? So if we're not that good, then your defense maybe in trouble. With that said, believe this or not, I hope Ozen wins big!! In fact I hope yall win State...that means we played a very close game with the best. Just not feeling that confident about it is all.  ;D
 5.
Is Barbers Hill better than everyone else? Well so far in district 19 they are. Let's not forget they won a district every fall sport this year.  Football,  Volleyball,  Team Tennis and boys and girls cross country.  I'd  say that's a special place.  And they have done this for the better part of tree last ten years.  How many schools can say that?  Winning tradition in every sport!
Good comment!!!
 6.

Yes, that Military salute by BH was awesome. It stirred the American soul. Too bad many folks here are blind to what BH is really about.
BH is a group of small communities just like every other school in Texas.  To begin to raise BH to some sort of mythical level is ludicris at best and dangerous at it's worse.  Setting them up for a same crash like at State College, Pennsylvania..... [/quote :o
 7.
Obviously, you have not been to many BH sporting events from youth to high school. Something in the water there changes people when they move there. I love the way they come out and support their teams but they absolutley have this superior attitude or status because they live there. Nice to proud of where you live but never forget where you came from! So many "move ins" over the last 10 years have forgotten where they came from. IMO! They complain about every play, every call that does not go their way. Excuses made for everything not going there way. They had an excellent team and they should be proud but they were bound to get beat by a "just as discplined and more athletic team". They had an excellent coach before this coach arrived. He came with an excellent resume and many were ready to run him out of town after the first loss to Dayton last year. These kids play hard, tough, disciplined football without many of the natural athletes of other schools. IMO, Price would do well at GCM with his system. Just an opinion...
I love my Eagles and always will, but I have to agree on most points. Things are different out here than when I played back in the cave man days. I love that our town supports our teams, but they have an unreal expectation of what our players are capable of. We have some talent, but nothing compared to Ozens QB. Most teams we play have more skilled position talent than we do...it's just the facts of life. Why can't folks see that, but they don't. Example: My son was playing flag football years ago in the 1st or 2nd grade. I over heard a father telling a lady that some of these boys are good enough to play Pro ball someday...what? You can't know that in the 1st or 2nd grade only playing flag ball...I was floored!! I hear stuff similar to that kind of thinking all the time. We have just enough talent to go one or two rounds in the playoffs, then we are just out matched. Thats ok though, many team never get that...it's saying something if you can do that consistently. We ran off Price because we thought we should win a State Championship...come on folks. Now we got the coaching gawd Ronnie Gage and what happens, with some of the best talent we've had since 2006, maybe since 1999, we are one and done. I guess we need to fire him and bring in the next coaching great. Not trying to be unloyal to my community...I just don't understand some of our people. There is an unreal expectation around here...my god I would love for us to win a State Title too, and it will happen again someday, but we have a long way to go. I'm proud of our kids!! They played the hound out of a much more talented team, and almost pulled it out. If I were an Ozen fan I would be real concerned about your defense, its not good...Yall need to start preparing for basketball a week from now. We moved the ball, with a couple exceptions, at will. Your facing a team this week that is strong on both sides of the ball...doesn't playin your favor. So I'm proud of our kids, they have nothing to hang their heads about. Our fans on the other hand need to come back to reality. Still love my Eagles!!!!
 8.
I will go on record and say that he will not win a playoff game at BH.  His best class just finished their senior football season and I dont see him hanging around for much longer, maybe 2 or 3 years.  Just my opinion.
I think he leaves this year. Nearly our entire defense graduates, and a bunch of our offense. If he couldn't do great things with this team...the next few years aren't going to be as good. IMHO.
 9.
What division were Gage's State Titles in ? 5A 4A 3A 2A 1A?
Yes in 5A, with teams that had several D-1 talent. Was not impressed with him the last two games. In case no one at the hil has noticed...we don't have any D-1 talent.
 10.
No actually lets just get the facts out there .. OZEN Loves to hold so get ready to get held held oh and just for the RECORD that was a catch by #10 but id just say and not just cause im a BH FAN but that ref needs a new job .. So just for the record it was bh's game . Sure we got beat in the secondary sure they kept up and sure we had 1 int. on the QB which is an ATHLETE has speed moves and an ARM from all get out 65 yrd bombs all night .. but to all be said if you were not there dont be talking smack BH Played hard knock football took some hits and LAYED SOME HITS !! So you would be ALMOST IGNORANT to call bh whimpy cause they played nose to nose .. OZENS BAND SUCKS!!!!! AND IS OBNOXIOUS
Wow Kuntry, that was a little harsh. I thought Ozens Band was cool...first time I haven's slept through half time in years. Yes, I thought BH played a pretty decent offensive game, and overal didn't play horrible, but we didn't get the job done and the panthers did. I thought the coach made several ignorant and risky decisions, and a couple of them ended up biting us. Why go for it on 4th and one on your own 40? Gave them a short field. Why try that little trick play with QB going out for a pass. We put the ball into the hands of a guy that hasn't thrown a pass in game situation...very low percentage play...and it cost us dearly. Once again we didn't hold onto the ball...and it cost us. We made stupid mental mistakes, with the two unsportsman like conduct calls. Our defensive secondary didn't exsist...which some of us have been concerned about all year. Don't know if Perry caught the ball or not at the end, but it doesn't matter, we shouldn't have been in that situation anyway.  Congrats to the Panthers, good luck going forward...yall deserved the win. Good season Eagles!!!

Barbera's Hill came to Stallworth with one of those 10-0 records plus a number 10 ranking in 3A.  SFA(the real Eagles) finished 2nd behind Newton.  The result:  30-0 arse whipping of those Cove Eagles......
You and Solja should have a reunion every year to celebrate how good your teams used to be before they got closed down or just eat up by every team in their district. Go start you own thread called the glory days ;D
Hey d&*)split, Central went 4 rounds in '08 or does your quality BH attention span go that far back???  When was the last time Barbera's Hill part of a 2nd round conversation????
SFA,you want to go all the way back to 1993? Why don't we go a little further to 1985, yall came to our turf, on a GreyHound bus, undefeated, sporting a number 4 state ranking, we weren't even in the top 50. Results...BH 7 SFA 0. And what does that have to do with the game this week? NOTHING!!! Far as can tell, us old farts from 1985 or1993 aren't playing this week...thank god! Go Eagles!!!
Why stop there.  We can go back to '84 which I was on the telling end of a 21-0 Barbera's Hill butt whipping.  By the way, that team y'all beat 7-0 made it to the 3rd round.  Again, when was the last time Barbera's Hill was a 2nd round conversation?????
I'm asking because I don't know. How many titles does Ozen have? We can talk about the past until we're blue in the face. It doesn't matter. If you got titles to back it up, then I'll tip my hat to you and give you props, because you went the distance.
My point exactly...it doesn't matter who beat who 20,30 years ago, or yesterday. All that matters is the two teams lining up this week. There are two good teams that have their season on the line...I expect a great game!!  I'm pulling for the Eagles!!
