  1. You should see the picture Gary Stelly from KOGT posted on fb because it clearly shows the Bear player had the ball all wrapped up in his arms. Just glad the Bears won! ;D
  2. For as long as I can remember I have always known the players to take a knee in respect when any player was down on the field. Yes, it did make PNG look pretty bad and it is sad if that is what they are being taught. You can see that the majority of the people (right or wrong) think taking a knee means showing respect and so why would you teach your players not to do this? So, you can't be surprised when people react to your actions. Your actions speak volumes! I was walking beside the injured player on the way out the gate and he went and shook the hands of some of the Indian players. They asked how he was and he told them he was ok....just lost feeling for a little bit! It's not that anybody thinks they didn't care he was down & hurt it was just that their actions looked as if they didn't and as if they were too good! Invictus......really......taking a knee is just like a moment of silence........prayer, thankfulness, a silent thought of well wishes.....respect...all the same thing!
  3. WAY TO GO BEARS!!! This night was PRICELESS at the way LCM & WOS all came together to support one another. Seeing the WOS boys lead the Bears out of the tunnel and then running with the flags after the touchdown and the girls with the cheerleaders and drill team just makes you smile knowing this is how it is suppose to be!
  4. OMG.....BOO HOO.....indians win and all some can do is complain about the ref calls. I haven't seen a game played where there isn't questionable calls made by the refs against either team. When you show the call on instant replay and it goes against what the ref called, it kinda makes them look bad though (catch in bounds). And, it's kinda funny how some of the big plays by lcm didn't make the replay, kinda selective on them. Both teams gave their fans an exciting game to watch to start off district play. It's going to be a great season after hearing the scores across the district tonight. So, Indians take the win and be happy! GREAT JOB BEARS! Awesome game #9!
  5. them indians are good at getting in when they want. here several years ago at lcm they couldn't wait for the gates to open so they cut open the lock with bolt cutters........it's true....
  6. AWESOME....AWESOME GAME! CONGRATS TO THE BEARS...JOB WELL DONE TO THE BOYS AND COACHES! Hope all the kids (lcm band, drill team and football player) that gotten taken to the hospital are doing ok. Looking forward to next week.....GO BEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. There is no more "BOJO", that has been put to rest! All signs of BOJO are being erased! Great job bears!
  8. I have to agree that it wasn't publized that there would be anything held tonight as soon as Coach Crouch had been approved. I was also very disappointed at the lack of people there tonight. And, yes those that were there to be recognized pretty much cleared out as soon as there names were called. Coach Crouch did receive a standing ovation when he was approved by those that were there. I too would have thought that the athletes and their parents that wanted a change would have been there to show support. Good luck to Coach Crouch for he has a tough job ahead of him but one I am sure he will do excellent at given the chance.
  9. The only thing about emailing him is....he doesn't read it! Call the admin.! At least with David Williams the kids respected him and enjoyed playing for him. LCM has lost too many good coaches over the past several years and it is a ashame. LCM has also had a hard enough time with school spirit and to not play this game for such a ridiculous reason.....well, what can we say that hasn't already been said! I wonder if he ever listens to himself talk?????????? I was asked if Moody could make this decision on his own or did he have to have the approval of the superindentent??????
  10. YES, he really said it about the pacifers. He might have been trying to be funny but in his position at this time he is no comedian. As for the Bmt. Enterprise article...Moody has no say on money because he is very money hungry for his own football program. WOS will lose money on football programs that have already been printed for this game. It is not just calling off a game....like it was said before it involves not only the football team but cheerleaders, drill team, band and the community. For those that are seniors in all these activities they don't want to miss out on one single game. Their senior year goes fast enough.
  11. Yes, it was very sad to see Moody not step up at the Community Pep Rally like he has done in the previous years to talk about the team and the upcoming year. They are a young team and it will probably be a very tough year but you have to start somewhere. He should have at least showed the leadership of an AD and said they have been working hard and they were going to go out EVERY WEEK and do the best that they can....win or lose! Instead he goes on about how young they are and tells parents at a meeting "that they aren't using mouthpieces this year, he is giving them pacifers." He has to give the respect to the kids, coaches and community in order to receive it! PLAY THE GAME!!!!!!
