  1. Regardless of that, good luck the rest of the year WOS.
  2. No sir a good ass whipping is fine. It was the trash that came with it that was bad. Stay Classy.
  3. WOS is definitely talented, but good lord the are undisciplined and probably the tackiest bunch we have played. The old University of Miami would think their antics are a bit much. The refs are horrible but their coach should be embarrassed at this.
  4. Good game Horns and good luck the rest of the year.
  5. Liberty is playing poorly. 14-0 HF 10:20 in 2nd
  6. In all seriousness, I was lucky enough to catch the HJ/HF game last week. HF did a nice job stacking the box with 9 and containing a similar offense. Liberty’s OL and backs are bigger and more physical than HJ so it should be exciting if you like that 2yards and a cloud of dust type football. Liberty’s defense will really have to play lights out and possibly move an athlete in as a qb spy. A mobile qb has been their Achilles heel all year. Win or lose I’m just happy we don’t have to continue our non district tour of towns along US-59. Also this is historically Liberty’s sloppiest week of football. County schools have been out most of the week for the fair and the kids always seem to have a tough time playing when their routine is messed up.
  7. Eh somebody has to play Devil’s Advocate otherwise this board would get stale. 😁
  8. I think that’s exactly what he’s saying. Let’s use the transitive property of hs football for a minute for a fun little exercise. Huffman beats Liberty soundly. Splendora beats Liberty on a last second FG. Liberty rolls Livingston. Popular opinion on the board says Liberty is not a playoff team. So if you think Splendora is a playoff contender then yes, other than HHHS, the district is weeeeeaaaaaakkkk. (Not that I believe a word of that but it was fun to type)
  9. My 2 cents. Huffman runs the table in district. 2.LCM 3&4 flip a coin, Splendora or Lumberton
  10. Having watched both teams play Liberty, I’d say you are spot on or a tad high on Livingston’s score. I didn’t get to see much of Splendora’s pass D but I still think they win handily.
