  1. I've seen Ned play/scrimmage and know the new and returning players. I was disappointed a bit in the pass blocking vs WOS. The tandem backfield is definitely something any coach would like to have and if they can produce 4-5 yards a carry then the Dogs should be fine moving forward. However, overall ( knowing it was a 1st game) I wasn't truly impressed with the overall play by the Dogs. With the 2 back plus the Soph this offense should be electric when all 3 are on the field IMO. Prediction (United 31 Dogs 21)
  2. After seeing the HF Horns in the Ned Tourney this weekend, looks like the BMT Move-ins are alive and ready in Horn Nation! Open enrollment is alive I guess!
  3. Hearing Coach Pat Abel stepping down and will still teach at PNG... Who is up for the task moving forward?
  4. March 11th Updated District 21-5A Standings (Boys) Dayton (8-2) (24pts) PNG (7-2-1) (23pts) PA Memorial (6-3-1) (20pts) Cleveland (6-4) (18pts) Nederland (5-4-2) (17pts) Vidor (1-9) (3pts) Barbers Hill (1-9) (3pts)
  5. I have no "dog" in this fight, however "dadofabulldog" is correct in his posting. The only way to "win or lose" a game in District is during regulation play or overtime, once it goes to a shootout it is a "tie" and you will either receive 2 or 1 points in the standings. Also during "overtime" there is no "golden rule" which means you have to play the 2 (10) minute halves completely, no one goal wins it, time has to be completed. If at that time one team has scored more than the other then they win (3pts) and the other loses, if not it goes to shootout, which at that time the teams "tie".
