  1. Congratulations to the PNG team for their impressive victory against South Oak Cliff. They dominated the game in the trenches, stuck to their strategy, and played flawlessly. What a fantastic team!
  2. Stay classy silsbee! Stuff like this is all over his social media. Not intentional or accidental yet his teammates are posting ambulances and helicopters about it. Disgusting
  3. Unfortunately, you're right BC's head coach heads to baseball sooner, and maybe a coach from Oragnefield takes over a program, or maybe a coach from Nederland Takes over after Christmas break. Silsbee has great athletes but won't make it far in the playoffs with that discipline. Well-coached teams with discipline and less athletes will send them to basketball season early Tons of prayers for #3 of BC. Terrible incident
  4. #1 got mad after he got lit up on an incomplete pass. He shoves BC players. #10 and #11 hit BC #55 with open-hand slaps. BC player retaliates defending himself and his teammates who were pushed and shoved by those players. Offsetting personal fouls but BC #55 gets ejected from the game due to some BCISD personal foul rule. Whatever happens to protect your brothers on the field. It's football not tennis. It got chippy but Silsbee is absolutely undisciplined and that's a shame. BC coaches need to step up and fight for their players. Making a kid sit out for a personal foul is ridiculous. Heard fans screaming for the player to be put back in and screaming at their superintendent. It's pretty clear on video BC fans aren't happy
  5. Cats need to go back to the slot T Mafia and stop trying to let a Tight End play QB. I think their slot T Mafia Membership Card could be in danger after throwing that many passes. Go back to your strengths in my lazy boy coaching.
  6. Big Ned needs to play with a chip on their shoulder. Quit allowing teams to disrespect them like they have. It’s time to go out there and play Bulldog football. Play with testicular fortitude. I understand we are young but that wasn’t the excuse in the 90’s and 00’s when sophomores and Juniors lead those team along with outstanding RBs and Big OLines. Even some of those teams were under sized but fought like hell. Every ex player of Neumann’s can still hear him say theirs only one way to do it and that’s kick ass. Then they would go run through a brick wall for him. I don’t think the same thing could be said now. I’m praying the bulldogs turn it around and show the haters that they are wrong
  7. Is this game being live streamed or just KOGT?
  8. Which 7th grade Nederlanders are you talking about CO or Central? Also those sophomores on freshman team last year (2019) had a B Team that beat PNG twice and A team got beat in 4th quarter when running back went down. Then what happened this year 2020 with JV game? Those sophomores and few juniors beat up PNG pretty bad. Now the freshman team this year was tough to watch with a few bright spots and they were killed by PNG at CO and Central their 7th and 8th grade years.
  9. So where are we thinking FB game will be? NRG? U of H? Thoughts?
  10. Honestly if you go watch last nights game and they had a few on YouTube too. They are almost a mirror image of us Offensively and Defensively. I think Nederand pulls off the win 35-21 or maybe 42-28. If they come out hitting like they did the other night. It will definitely knock them off their game plan. (Not here to argue penalties or not but if you review the tape on those hits. That’s just two collusion’s that happened in a violent sport of football not patty cake like they have made it) Friday night I’ll be in New Caney because I’m interested in Montgomery vs. FB Marshall. Montgomery barely lost to Huntsville and they are picking Huntsville to win our region. Good thing we play the games but I believe that game will be a good one.
  11. After watching both teams play almost all their games!! (Side note TexanLive is a great thing to have) Both teams have their athletes in place to be competitive teams. I have a feeling this is going to come down to coaching. Both Defensive Coordinators will have their work cut out for them!! This game on paper says it will be competitive and person with the ball last will win. I hate to say this but my gut says 34-28 Dogs in 2 OT or 34-24 Dogs..... just my guess but if Barbers Hill doesn’t move up in realignment I’ll be shocked. 74 kids on JV tonight. They were rotating Defensive and Offensive linemen like a College Team.
  12. Nederland lost to Barbers Hill tonight 21-14. That was their only loss in district so far on year with 2 games left. Honestly untimely mistakes in the red zone killed the dogs. I’ve watched them all season and this wasn’t the team I was use to seeing. Offense shot their selves in the foot too many times. On the flip side of the coin Defense played a heck of a game to keep the game close. Should be fun to watch game tomorrow night and the next two weeks as Playoffs for varsity shape up. Overall 6-1 District 4-1
  13. Danny I’m afraid you’ve got it twisted here. You have no idea who I am or what I stand for at all. I have played football with guys you might know Jason Carter from Caldwell, Texas and Billy Pittman from Cameron, Texas. They might be a little older than you but those are some friends of mine but I’ll call them acquaintances now because as life happens we lose contact. First off don’t ever call me racist because I’m the last person on this message board who’s racist. I have family in PAISD who have played football for PAISD. My children are 3/4 Hispanic. Also my playing years were over in fall of 2000 when I broke my ankle playing college football. I did come home at 19 years old coaching The line for Pop Warner Football in Nederland, then after I got married I helped start a football league in Lake Jackson/Clute Texas(which was a blessing to see numerous young men put what we instilled in them to become college prospects as they came up through through Brazosport ISD system), and then I coached in Conroe in which I had the blessing to coach my nephew(again had the blessing to see numerous young men put what we instilled in them to become college prospects). The only reason I say what we instilled in them is because that’s what each one told me when we would go watch them play Thursday and Friday nights as they grew up after we were finished coaching for years. I DON’T SAY THIS BECAUSE I’M SOME AMAZING COACH BUT IM SAYING MY COACHING PHILOSOPHY AND WHO I AM ISN’T WHO YOU THINK. My oldest played in Orangefield when the group of freshman and sophomores now went through the program. That group went to 7 semifinal games, 4 Super Bowls but lost to a great group of WOS young men twice. When I coached it wasn’t about where my son played. Also my son played center every single year of his youth career because that’s where his team needed him. He didn’t like it but he was taught it’s not about what you want it’s about what your team needs you to be. He played his heart out every game. He was an undersized center in height and weight. Now he’s earning his Old English N in Nederland. When I coached It was about putting the best athletes in positions to be successful. We also taught them we are not just a team it’s a brotherhood that will last for years to come. I taught them you play for the person next to you because we are family and family doesn’t let each other down. So no plays off. We also taught them football techniques, gaps, holes, assignments, and could run a no huddle with them running 6-9 plays straight. That’s been my coaching philosophy and that was instilled in me in 7th grade by the great middle School Coach from Nederland Jack Lynch. I coached 1 year in Nederland on a great Pee Wee team but got beat by the better team you were coaching I believe or maybe even helping in the Super Bowl. I commend you on what you’re doing for those boys, your community, and teaching those boys the game of football you love. Which I am sure they are loving just as much. Congratulations on another Super Bowl victory. Just FYI my thoughts on a message board has nothing to do with race at all. It has everything to do with seeing kids in all organizations within STJFL having games turned into hot messes by coaches, parents, fans, and refs. I’ve umpired baseball for 18 years now and stopped being football referee when my oldest started playing. You know what ruins youth sports? UNEDUCATED PARENTS on sport rules and parents who believe little Johnny is better than he really is. Also I’m not a Nederland Senior Coach. My youngest son played Nederand Youth Football on the Senior team. He was their starting center and defensive tackle #77. He was center all but 1 year in youth football. He was undersized for those positions but I would say he held his own against bigger and stronger talent. In my opinion the success of your youth program isn’t super bowl trophies but what those boys learn from you the coaches to carry with them into school ball. Then how They grow from there. I apologize for my comment PA middle school that’s on me. Like I said I feel bad for those boys because they deserve a season. Let’s Fellowship I’m down with that myself. Last name is Delahoussaye feel free to message me. My issues have nothing to do with Racism, BLACK/WHITE, or me being a racist. If you have any questions please message me personally.
  14. Doubtful anyone in STJFL on the executive committee has a pair of balls because they are more concerned about not hurting feelings. I mean I saw a lot of yellow badges get asked to leave fields and act fools for years. Nothing ever happens because ethics committee is a joke along with STJFL board. Trust me if you’re buddy buddy with orangefield you’re safe from all allegations. Even if anyone turns in allegations on OF they get ignored too.
  15. I don’t believe it created an argument it is statements of opinions. Which you agreed with my points to a certain measure. STJFL board is a joke and we all know it. They are the reason everything is screwed up. All I have to say is I heard rumors about PA game and if it was a certain TASO crew with a certain head referee. I feel bad for all those involved because that head referee has let’s things go too much. Then again all those rule amendment emails probably confused them and they weren’t told correctly. Also I’m not ASSuming anything about PA middle schools. Heard that from a pretty reliable source. I hate it for the kids that love the game of football because it takes away their season. Especially since it was only BMT that had Covid. Which is strange because they still fielded teams to play both Nederland Middle Schools. Hopefully they took the right measures to keep all kids safe. Honestly I’m done with youth finally!! Y’all enjoy it and I pray!! STJFL and refs don’t ruin it for the kids. Especially don’t ruin it for the coaches out there volunteering their time doing it the right way.
  16. I don’t think I’ve seen a Nederland Seniors coach on this site all year..... One thing to talk trash but another thing to try to get them to get on here and argue. Take your win move on. If you’ve got trash to talk be a man and talk it to them in person. Not on a message board.
  17. Always talking trash on Nederland Youth Football and Coaches. Hey whatever makes you feel better about yourself. All that matters is what happens when games actually count and parents aren’t living through their kids anymore. Not to mention the corrupt and unethical STJFL that picks who they want to punish or not. STJFL is a joke. Im so grateful to be done with that group of self indulgent morons. I’ve spent 13 years watching STJFL board screw over teams that didn’t deserve it or allow teams to do as they please so they didn’t hurt feelings. I’ve seen PA get kicked out for no reason, Rivers/Anderson Beaumont Teams get targeted because they were good, stacked teams from PNG, and then Nederland has been their focus for almost 5 years. Maybe with a new President things will get better but I doubt it. Same people running ethics committee will be running the show I hear. Also from my understanding is PA couldn’t even field a middle school football team to play any Nederland Middle Schools or anyone for that matter. Y’all are a bunch of keyboard warriors. Good Luck to y’all PA enjoy your youth Super Bowls and participation trophies. Let’s see where it gets you when it actually matters.
  18. If it doesn’t matter then why do Head Coaches, Offensive and Defensive coordinators, and not to mention position coaches travel to JV games? JV matters because you have to reload not rebuild. You have to see what you will have next year and see if those JV guys who are scout team all week can take what they learn in literally 1 hour 1/2 athletic period while Varsity watches film on Monday to practice their game plan. After that they are the team Varsity is playing until Thursday night. Any coach I’ve talked too cared about what is happening from Middle School, freshman, and JV not just Varsity. If your Athletic Director and coaches aren’t vested into the athletics programs as a whole then why coach in the first place. I commend all the wives/dads and kids of coaches for allowing them to do what they love. Yes it takes time away from the family. What I’ve always noticed in the communities I’ve lived in? Those wives/dads and kids are at the games supporting their wives/dads.
  19. Dogs win by 17 but I do think Texas City is coming to town with a chip on their shoulder. Defense for them is always tough because of their different formations. Plus moving around athletes to different spots to make a play even if they haven’t played that position. Offense has leading rusher in district but our defense has been tough all year. Looking forward to a great game!!
