I'd like to know why when an incident like the Lafayette shooting, Aurora shooting, Sandy Hook, Charleston church shooting or your every weekend shootings in Chicago happen if the culprit is hispanic or black or arabian descent they are automatically labeled "thug" or "terrorist" versus if they were caucasian being automatically labeled as having "mental issues/illness" or "comes from a broken home" or "a loner"….…

I think often times people come(jump) to conclusions without educating themselves on the issues.  I would agree with a lot of what you said, but I would also say the respect thing goes both ways with policeman.  It's the arrogant all mightier than now policeman that really make it difficult for the good ones.  I also agree that our country is more divided for whatever reason(I personally think both sides just can't find common ground).  There is never enough dialogue and you can't have a conversation about differences without it becoming personal or just a plain ole argument.  I think people in our country need to have more respect for each other regardless of what sex, religion, race, or whatever.  That seems to be lost in our culture.  We've agreed on some things Hippy and we've disagreed on some things.  I'd have beer with you though (if you drink), I'd probably learn a thing or two.

Saw it on CBS news.  Good stuff.  I've done it, but you have to be careful who you talk with.  Many folks out there who are so hardheaded, or opinionated you can't discuss anything with them.  That problem runs across the whole spectrum.  Good people are good and color doesn't matter.

​I keep telling you that tides turn and they will turn. The question remains will you still be here then? I am here most of us on here have a real love of highschool sports. Some just football some loves all highschool sports. Win or lose I am here. I truley hope you are. The more real fans the better. I have been on this website for many many years most likely around 9 I think. I have seen literally hundreds of fans pop up when there team is winning and disappear as soon as they lose. The SC fans were some of the worse. I admit we have some PNG fans who pop up on here and tick me off with the crap they say. I even get mad a say dumb things myself but I am always here. I hope you are then as well. The more the better!!!!

Yes it is.  It's all about putting a good product on the field and giving kids an opportunity to learn the game properly so that they can hopefully attract some college scholarship offers! Coach Cullivan will bring a disciplined, productive, up-tempo practice so that these kids can learn the game the right way. EXCITED!

I was looking at the game times.  I thought D1 usually plays after D2 in each classification.  Meaning Ozen would have a Friday night game while Central played a Saturday noon game...

Lol, I'll still support my Panthers on Friday night, Lamar on Saturdays & All other local teams when time & schedules permit. Soulja, Big Ford, Buddy & All other supporters of SETX football know the Trash Talk is coming

I don't think so. Last year we did not have enough players to field a JV. The freshmen team had to be moved up to the JV thus killing the Freshmen team for the last half of the season. If you remember we only suited up 35 on Fridays. However all 35 got to play. At Ozen you will see more quality in its athletes than quantity. My guess is Suggs suit up 40 this year.
