I’m deeply saddened with the loss of Todd. He was a great man, friend and loyal person. We had a blast at WOS games in 80’s. After many years of not seeing each other, we reconnected in Houston at a high school baseball game a few years ago. He was blessed with great parents and spouse who I pray for their loss.

Mustangs and Tigers just solid ball clubs. Lots of playoff experience, good coaching and pitching. Both should have good runs. I'm guilty. When I became an empty nester, this board provided an escape and still does to read about the greatest game, baseball. Now, with grandkids, I have started all over and loving every minute and my time is scarce to help. We have new posters in the last few years that have done a great job, of course, WOSgrad is the glue to keep it going. The talent is still strong, just a lull at the moment in rosters being deep. That will change.

Sign ups for the 2017 Sr Babe Ruth season will be Sunday 16th between 4-7 pm at the Nederland High School baseball field. Our league is comprised of 16-18 yrs olds, 15's if room allows. New players need to bring birth certificate, returning players just need to sign up to secure your roster position.
