Just gauging interest in possibly doing a FREE fall ball session at Nederland Babe Ruth League for players 12-15. If the interest is high enough, we are thinking about doing fall ball on Saturdays or Sundays in "pick up game" fashion. NO ADULTS ON THE FIELD. This would be a FUN experience for the kids only. Parents would be welcomed and encouraged to WATCH, but the kids would show up, pick teams each weekend and handle their business on the field with NO adult interaction, other than supervision for safety of course. Again, this is just an idea at this point. We have had several inquiries about if our league will conduct a fall ball program this season. In past years we have had fall ball based on interest from present as well as new incoming players to the league. Our fall league is very laid back with an emphasis on instruction and recreation in a fun environment. There are no team practices and games will be played as two 1.5 hour games (double - header) each Saturday for 6 weeks. The fall league will be open to any players who will be age 13, 14 or 15 as of May 1, 2017. Cost to participate is $70 per player. Family discount available.
