  1. What has Anahuac done that everyone in the district have not done?

  4. Ever night EC is going to see the same kind of effort. This is a very balanced district with outstanding coaching staffs; stay on your "A GAME".
  5. Every team in this district has a chance. The parity is unbelievable. Great coaching staffs continue to put their kids in a position to be successful each game night.

  7. How much did this visit to Orangefield effect EC? Will it have an impact on the next game? And the next? Go Bobcats!!!
  8. I see you Bobcats, you hit EC in the mouth. You did not loose, you ran out of time. Go Orangefield.
  9. Good!!! You answered your own question. This fight for this district championship has just got started. Some of the teams in this district are coached by gentlemen who don't just show up for a whistle, a cap, and a paycheck. The don't spend hours away from their families for a clipboard and a stopwatch. These guys don't come to the field house to become mediocre. They are after the prize, the Championship. Their goal is to be the best. If you are not trying to win, send EC the crown by UPS. The Bobcats have been preparing for this showdown; EC is too big of a target to miss. Go Bobcats!

Please, give a report on my neighbors at Huntsville concerning the bus accident.

  12. I hope some of you get stirred up and a district race breaks out. If you want to crown EC the district champs tomorrow night go ahead; but they won't be crowned by the Bobcats. That's why we play the schedule! It is not over until it is over. Ever week a proud opponent will compete to be THE Champion; this is not a competition to see who can finish second behind EC. It is a disgrace to not put forth an effort to win. Every week EC will be in a vicious street fight. If you can not stand to witness real Southeast Texas Football; go play bingo. EC is natural prey of the Bobcats. Whoever EC plays next cannot wait to compound the butt whipping they got the week before. Orangefield, this is your time. Play extremely physical. Turn this game into a street fight that last for 4 quarters. Demand respect; defend your home. This is your opportunity; take control of your destiny. What happens tomorrow night will forever be part of history. Will it be said that you tucked your tails until the great EC left town with the district crown. Or you can punish the arrogant _____________ and send them on their way. GO, Bobcats!!!
  13. This district race has just begun; anyone can win it. Keep your eyes on the prize. "The" denotes 1; the prize, the Champion, the goal, the family, the mission, the direction, The, is just a three letter word that serves as a catalyst for excellence.
  14. Right!! This is Texas high school football. The "slot-t turns" becomes the "Modified Slot-T" in the hands of a genius. And those old boys at Orangefield are pretty damn smart; and kinda mean too. You know what I mean. Do we key the guards? Which one is the fullback? Is that an unbalanced formation? What's his number? Is he a TE or an outside-tackle? Damn that was a 12-play drive. We have only run 15 plays this half. Did you say follow the center. I thought you said that they couldn't throw the ball. Coach Arrogant Ass, I thought you said he couldn't catch. Did we see that formation? I told you not to look in the backfield; or was it don't look in their eyes. I'm so confused!!! Come get this butt whipping we have prepared for you.
  15. EC is scheduled to play in Orangefield tomorrow. EC you are our "Guest of Honor". We will whip your butts up and down the field and send you on your way. I don't think it gets more straightforward than that.
  16. Can you imagine being in Greg Neece's shoes for a day? Just for kicks, it is 8:00 in the morning and you have just poured your second cup of coffee. You take a bite of the breakfast sandwich #5's Dad dropped off for you yesterday. You are putting the final touch on your pre-game speech "Wecome to Homecoming; Excuse Us While We Whip Some Butt!!!". The phone rings.

You have been selling your program for 6 plus months. Using all your strength, you have made great progress. Pushing and pulling to get the young athletes in the 7th and 8th grades to see the benefits of being Anahuac Panthers. Parents are sure that you care about their sons and daughters. You answer the phone; maybe it is "Nigerian Nightmare" informing you that he has a conflict and will be late for unit meetings. Or maybe it's someone from your "Pony Express"; calling to assure you that the mail will be delivered rain, snow, sleet, or hail. Wouldn't either of those have been great calls.

Imagine a parent on the other end. You can hear the uneasiness in her voice as you are informed you that inappropriate language is being use in practice and games.  The mother gives you a list of words being use and directed at the kids in your program. These terms include, moron, retard, stupid, idiot, dummy, imbecile, loser, dingbat, ignoramous, and lamebrain.

Now, you are quite aware that we have special needs students in all of our programs. We are a very diverse community. We want a high level of participation, and we want athletics to be a safe place for our student athletes. How would you feel? What would you tell the parent? How would assure the mother that this will not happen again.

I am a friend of the program and Gegg Neece; and he approves of this message.

  17. I No sour grapes here. I do know that it is much too early to crown the Bucs district champs. If they underestimate Orangefield, they will be in trouble. This is going to be a very physical game. Are the Bucs ready to take the kind of punishment that is waiting for them? I hope they are aware of the kind of pride the players and coaches there are known for. Again, I hope they don't expect to come to town and get an easy win. Next week, you will read about the "Ambush at Orangefield". The following week you will learn of the "Compound Butt Whipping". This is where a team takes such a physical beat down this week, he does not fully recover before his butt is whipped again. The next week, the same treatment is handed out by a disrespected opponet. See how it works; we are going to play these games. Nothing is going to be given to you; but for the remainder of the season you better buckle your chin strap and put your mouthpiece in. Bobcats, the Bucs think they are coming to a football game. Ambush them with a street fight. You don't hear people talking about how tough they are. The arrogance on the part of Bucs has earned them a butt whipping, and you are the one to give it to them. Don't make excuses, make plays. You are the host; serve them the most brutal ass whipping of the season; and they will get the same treatment from their next opponents. You will then be the favorite to win the district. If you follow the plan, EC will start pumping up basketballs on the way home. It is simple; no one catches a pass without a fight, no one cross a goal line without a fight, no one tackles your ball carriers witout a fight. EC is coming to your HOUSE; what are you going to do? Whip their butts with extreme attitude. Go Bobcats!!!

  19. Orangefield has a chance to beat EC; the key is turning the game into a street fight. EC is playing at Orangefield, defend your your home turf. The opportunity to win is too big and the return is even greater. When they come into your stadium with all that flash and glitter; knock them on their butts; when they get up, put them on their butts again. You are playing at home; play the most physical game you have ever played. Tackle harder, block harder, and run harder than you have ever played. If you do this, and each of the next opponents follow suit; you know what the results will be. It is time to earn some respect from EC. They don't respect you, the district, or the rest of Southeast Texas. You never here people talk about how tough they are. This is your chance; hit them in the mouth! That is how you handle a bully. If they are handled this way every week the results will be enormous. The rest of the district is not EC fans; we are fanatical about Souteast Texas football. Stepup and hit the bully in the mouth. Orangefield this is your chance, EC is expecting a football game where they put on the mgreatest show on turf. When the ball is kicked, let the street fight last for four quarters. Let's shake this thing up.
  20. If you promise not to tell, I will let you in on a secret. In Anahuac, they are talking about District Championship. I'm talking about the team, coaches, administrators, parents, ex-students, young and old.
  21. Would you show up at the Kentucky Derby with an ass? Listen, the best skill people in Anahuac are already part of Neece's "Pony Express". Yes, they left mail scattered all over the field Friday night. If Butter Fingers cannot catch the ball, don't throw it to him. His Daddy couldn't catch either. But, these kids can catch. Catch 300 more balls a week 20 minutes before and after practice. Practice catching with 2 hands, not one. (Thumbs out) I should see your nose tracking the football until you tuck it away. Run through the pass and put your hands up at the last moment. Practice at game speed; correct every mistake. Talk about District Championship not playoffs. Get our kids to do what other kids won't do; get them to do a little more. Hill has potential to be a defensive lineman. But, it is hard to be a new breed ANAHUAC PANTHER.
  22. Good job Buna; those young kids know how to compete. Great plan coaches!!!
  23. This is a unique district. Once district starts, you must treat every game as a playoff game. EC is the exception, there is so much parity that every game has playoff implications. If you are not thinking playoffs, you are cheating your kids. Low aim, not failure is the crime here. If you can get your kids to do a little more, you can get to the playoffs.

You’re 100% right about that. Hopefully the Buna kids won’t be distracted by all the Homecoming activities. They’re fixing to be out in this heat riding on a float..well a trailer 😂 I’m sure they’ll recover by game time seeing how they’re young. It will be interesting to see how the games tonight and how this district plays out.

I'm given a hard time (because I am Foster's crazy uncle), but I am very serious. There aremm too many coaches who get to mid-season and quit on their kids. Kids today need coaches who would rather fight than switch. Your team is 1-3, so you want to start whining and want switch teams. This is your team, your kids; keep fighting. Let your kids know you care, find a way to be successful, try to make it fun. Wouldn't you rather fight than switch? I just believe that those people in Anahuac will pull together and make this one of the most successful Octobers in a number of years. If a team is in their way; they are in trouble.
