No he did not. Participating in two sports where their seasons run the same is much different.

Coach Foster and I had talked earlier in the season and he told me this might be his last year to coach but still wasn't sure. Well, he is sure now. It's been a great privilege to cover his teams. I always enjoy watching his teams play. They are always one of the best coached teams year in and year out. But it's more of an honor and privilege to call Kevin my friend. He is just an absolute great man. He and his dad are the reasons I am a big Big Sandy fan. I will miss Coach on the sidelines. Just won't be the same without him. But I also know we will keep in touch and he will be greeting me when I attend Wildcat basketball games. Congrats Coach Foster!!! Job well done my friend!

I am all for multiple sport athletes. I always say play as many as you can in high school. But during that sports season, a player should not be going through drills for another sport. Particularly contact drills. It's my understanding this was a decision by coach, not player.

Absolutely no reason for that young man to be participating in spring football while being a starter for the baseball team. Makes zero sense.

Friendswood is off the final week. Their district season is over. The rest will play their final two games this coming week. In a 7 team district, one team has to be off each week.

All I know is that you go out of your way to post on those headlines because you don't like it when people post on Beaumont news, running your city down. So you FEEL the need to do it too. That's being in your feels. As for how I feel? I feel embarrassed for you.

Enjoyed the game very much. Grandson had a blast and was wanting to go back tomorrow but I got a date with a recliner tomorrow to watch final round of Masters. Besides, his momma (my daughter) said he had a little girls birthday party to go to tomorrow. He wasn't too happy about that. lol

I'll be attending tomorrow's game with my grand son. Looking forward to Lamar ruining another of spidersal's day.
