  1. Dang…barn burner! Any news on girl’s game against Manvel, as well?
  2. I definitely support Abseck and his staff and how they coach, consistently! I did NOT like the 2 "give aways" last year, but it does happen, unfortunately! I hope they have learned that lesson! I sort of think this district is not gonna be a cakewalk for any team, actually - any given Friday. The loss of Crosby from our district schedule is just like the loss of Dayton a few years ago. Now we get big bad WB and Angleton and the normally always tough Ball to add to PA's athletic team. Gonna be fun and ready to start this new chapter!!
  3. Two and Through! I just have to scratch my head sometime with the play calling and decision calling with this bunch!
  4. I just said the same thing! Emotion is one thing, but my God, this is ridiculous!
  5. That 1st qtr and 1st part of 2nd qtr for the Eagles were pathetic. Dropped TD in the endzone, great run and then fumble on the two and scoop and long gain for MN. Then 3rd possession, drive to the two, and then procedure penalty, then delay, and could only muster a FG. Then MN drives the field and we try and substitute on consecutive hurry-up O by MN and we can’t get our guys off the field in time!! I was more pissed at our coaches looking confused than I was our execution. I was afraid we were giving NN the emotional edge on a nasty night! Thank goodness we righted the ship when we did!! GREAT job Eagles gaining your composure! Now suck it up and build on the win and don’t pull another Porter game after a big win!!
  6. I think many were concerned a bit coming into this game. To me, it looked like they just didn’t have that “edge” they showed against PAM. I’m not saying they were flat, but definitely not the edge I’ve seen in the past 2 games! Gotta hand it to Porter though, they came in with a plan and executed; bad reffing, poor coaching, poor qb decision making and all! You just can’t drive the field and fumble on the 2 yd line. You can’t have 2nd 2 inside the 10 and make QB decisions, and you can’t have 4th and 2 and drop open passes in the end zone! Learn from it Eagles and get ready for next week!
  7. Yeah, when I was finally able to get onto Texan Live (grumble grumble), The Hill looked pretty good both offensively and defensively, but nearly fell completely apart in the last 4 or so minutes. First game jitters I guess, but gotta keep focus. Got a win to start to the season so I'll take it! Go Eagles!!
  8. Thank you sir. Yeah, I was trying to watch on that crap network too and then it logged me out and I can't get back in. Thanks for the updates.
  9. Is anybody watching this on nfhsnetwork? It just keeps buffering and trying to determine if it’s my network or the feed!
  10. The Hill D looked really, really good tonight; especially up front! What I expected to see from that vaunted Crosby offense, just get going when they were being manhandled! Myles is a Great QB, but again, the Hill coaching staff had a plan for him and it worked! Speaking of Crosby’s O, is that Womack fella the same Womack that ate BH’s and Other’s lunch last year? Why don’t he graduate already…lol. I loved loved the way the Hill D was bringing the wood, but dammit, wrap up! I hate seeing these guys smack the bejeezus out of some ball carrier, but not wrap up and they get 5 yards or more and a first down because of it!! But Dang, BH looked tough and that’s why Crosby’s O didn’t look stellar! Crosby will be fine this year, they’r a dang good club!
  11. It’s a good thing this game isn’t a track meet. I’m afraid this ref crew might use up all the ambulance space. Thems some big fellers in stripes!!
