If we can pull out a win at the Rez and that's a big IF it won't be because lack of points, you can't shut out PNG only hope to slow them down. Problem is PNG seems to have Vidors O in check. They will try to shut down the fullback and make Vidor beat them with sweeps which they're linebackers usually read pretty quick. Going to have to get a TO or 2 and learn how to play with a lead. Don't like that they called the first half TD good but still had a another half to play and lost that half and lost the overtime. You don't give the refs credit when you win, don't blame them when you lose. I hope Crosby's QB is going to be okay. Also, love Mathews hat during the interview "League Villains"

Well i meant like any teams using the stadiums as nuetral sites not just local teams. Im just wanting to watch a game tonight since my teams done but dont want to travel too far.

Very big shoes. I think next year there will be a equal share among the 3 backs and the quarterback, or if we can find one of our running-backs who can throw a little bit and move him there. Either way he'll be hard to replace offensively and defensively.

Yeah believe me I understand the ignorance of a lot of Vidor fans being that I have to sit with them. They yell to throw the ball if we only get a 3 yard gain or ask why aren't we running when the one pass we throw is incomplete, and the worst is when we start yelling when we have the ball and its 3rd and 1 and I start yelling at them to shut up so we can hear the snap count.

Well i played in '09 then played for lamar so i know football and i usually just get on here and read but am tired of people talking about the past. I guess I have to post a lot to know what I'm talking about.

Well Dayton always has a top notch defense so it would be a great game but he really is impressive to watch. Not just from talent but his refusal to be taken down by one defender.

As being one of the backs from that year you're talking about i can say that Montana is the best for vidor since Rick Culbert and moore could've started on that team too. But the defense now compared to then is better in every catagory... oh and Montana started the last two games for that D too  :)

Doesnt really sting much when he's talking about the past. This years Vidor team can compete with anyone from 19-4A. Not the teams from the past 47 years. This team.

Acually from what i heard from a couple of vidor football players the first district game for vidor is Ned@Vidor

Isn't Vidor in OC? Dont understand why there's no Vidor players.

One of the reasons Vidor is looking so good in the playoffs offensively atleast is because these teams don't see our offense. The district teams see it year in and year out. But Goose Creek saw Ned for the 3rd time this year including their scrimmage. So for them to beat Goose Creek in the playoffs just shows to me that they have better coaching in nueman. Haven't seen Ozen besides when we played them but i'll be cheering them and Ned on saturday after my Pirates get a W

After watching the JV game tonight all i have to say is that the Safties have to play almost perfect ball. Ned had atleast 2 people go deep on every play. And i know that their QB has a cannon on'm. And it seems that ned has their CB's playin a lil deeper than most teams do against us. Could hurt'm. When they start runnin up to stop the run we'll do a play action right over their heads.
