  1. They won the district championship and lost by one score to an explosive team without their head coach on the sideline due to a medical emergency three hours before kick off… but hey… I’m sure you’d make a great HC
  2. Oh they’re good for sure for the next two years… and honestly I don’t see Vidor moving up beyond that in any near future. I was just curious what made them think Vidor would be moving up… there is no evidence to suggest that will happen…Lumberton is growing so I could see them moving up sooner or later
  3. What makes you think Vidor will be back in 5A… just curious
  4. Prediction for 4A Division I is 1259 cutoff
  5. Some of yall’s posts didn’t age very well on this thread… The LTrain found out what teams like LCM and Silsbee found out earlier in the season… Vidor plays four quarter football about as good as anyone… even with a decimated backfield
  6. Lol… better keep studying… lol
  7. Please Be specific… and please quote the page in the rule book you’re referring to
  8. Ashly Elam has it as the game of the week and here is his breakdown: 409Sports Game of The Week Lumberton (6-3, 3-1) at Vidor (7-1, 3-1) Series: Vidor leads 16-7 First Meeting: 1996, Vidor 17-10 Last Meeting: 2020: Vidor 42-14 Last Lumberton Win: 2015, 28-13 #409Sports #txhsfb
  9. Vidor’s JV won a tough one over Huffman tonight. They will be going into the last game against Lumberton still undefeated. How are the other sub varsity teams looking?
  10. Vidor’s defense has been improving all year long and really played a solid game shutting down Livingston. Offense is really moving the ball at will right now… Huffman will have their hands full Friday night. just want our boys to keep their focus and block out all the outside noise. I’ll take Vidor by 14
  11. Bears should take this one by 2-3 scores… maybe more.
  12. I know Matt Stepp puts out predictions for cutoff numbers… does anyone have a link to his predictions? He’s usually spot on
  13. For sure… control the clock and hang on to the ball are the big factors for this team
  14. As a Vidor Fan I’ll be following this one with a lot of interest… should be a good gauge on Lumberton
  15. Vidor’s Homecoming following a big win and remaining undefeated… Coach Mathews will work hard to keep the boys focused this week. I’m taking Vidor by two scores
