he'll 1000% abuse this if elected and given the chance.  he's like a petulant little kid.  again, I'm voting for his policy, but he's all about revenge against slights and wrongs, both real and perceived.

I think I would be more concerned with the folks that are actually doing what you are talking about rather than a very very slim to more likely no chance that Trump will engage in same behavior.

I think you’re missing my point- I also believe the prosecution is a mistake, but that’s not the point.

I’m confused that Conservative Christian Right-wing Republican straight white American male family first Trump voters are ignoring the fact that Trump did, in fact, do that awful thing…. But are instead focused on the fact that he’s being accused of covering it up.

There’s obviously no decency or morality in MAGA. But they still believe themselves to be exactly that… the side of decency and morality. It would be funny if the stakes weren’t so high.

Did you elevate yourself to this level of judgmental superiority after the first or second time you voted for Trump?

    From the article:

A viral video purports to show an anti-Israel demonstrator at New York University confessing she doesn't know why she's protesting.

In a video clip posted to X by former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, a young woman at Monday night's NYU protest struggles to answer when asked what the "goal" of the demonstration was.

"I think the goal is just showing our support for Palestine and demanding that NYU stops — I honestly don't know all of what NYU is doing," she tells the unidentified interviewer.

The protester then turns to another protester and asks if she knew why they were there.

"I really don't know. I'm pretty sure they are — do you know what NYU is doing?" she asks.

The second protester also admits she doesn't know why they're protesting at NYU.

"I wish I was more educated," she confesses.

Here’s the thing. I keep dropping facts on you, and you keep on knee-jerk saying “all lies!” I’ve asked you multiple times to point out whatever I’ve said that is factually wrong…but you can’t.  You might not like the facts, and they might make your eyes sweat a little… but it doesn’t change the fact that they are as true. Heck, deep down inside you might even know that Ol’ CB is right, but you believe Trump isn’t to blame. That, sir, does not turn the truth into a lie. What you should have said was is “that may be true, but I’m giving Trump a pass because…” Not “that’s a lie” when the numbers don’t lie.

But for you and everyone that  believes Trump was good for the economy, I’ll give another of my beloved and informative analogies that might help you finally understand.

A man handles his Family’s finances.  He makes a decision that life could be better, so he’s like “this is our year!” He stops all contributions to retirement accounts (cuts taxes) then proceeds to book a trip to Disney, buys nice things for the family and maxes out all possible lines of credit…. Now they’re facing bankruptcy.  The kids (y’all) are now arguing “things were so much better when  Dad (Trump, also your Daddy) was in charge! We had nice things!”

The man set us on a course for ruin with deficit spending, then it accelerated with COVID, then he was such a pig that Biden got elected, and now we’re facing another “anybody but Trump” loss in the November, guaranteeing four more years of nonsense from which we’ll probably never recover. The debt is just insurmountable. We shouldn’t be surprised, either.  Trump has always been a “borrow as much as we can and pray (errrr, hope….not pray. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t do a lot of that) that it all works out” as evidenced by his businesses which have repeatedly bankrupted.

Here’s the thing, you’ll have a choice in November, be an adult and do what’s best for your country.

Do you understand what you read? Or did you even try to read it?

Trump added almost as much debt in four years as Obama added in eight, and you’re proud of that fact?

Before you can say “COVID,” I’ll say “housing crisis of 2008.”

Never said I was proud of anything, I was simply pointing out that you were spewing incorrect information.

Quit pretending to be a conservative, come on out and admit what you really are, you’ll feel so much better.

My question is why do those of you that are staunch Republicans, like me, engage this foolishness?  We have idiots on college campuses behaving like 1930's Germany and you all engage this thread. Where the hell is our next Rush Limbaugh to teach you all again to leave the defense alone and attack the lefts evil and foolish ways. Cardinal just beat you all to hell simply by having any of you having a single response to this. He defined the narrative for 5 pages of waste.  Pull your heads out and quit!

Simple response if you have to have one on this topic it's I DONT GIVE A DAMN.

Now when and if he, U of Cal at Austin Alum,  or Big Pronoun Lover responds, I will not.  Leave it be! Discuss the things that matter

5 pages of a set up and you all took it. Disappointing!

Good speech, maybe you should start a thread teaching us how to behave on the forum, lol.

The day that Trump took office, our nation debt stood at 19.9 Trillion dollars (End of Q4, 2016).  After his tax cuts (without corresponding cuts in spending), the national debt stood at 23.2 Trillion dollars at the end of Q1 of 2020 that was the Start of COVID, FYI... Or a total increase in debt of almost 17% during Trump's first three years (and one quarter) in office.  At the end of his reign (with COVID spending for which Trump himself signed off on) was at 27.7 Trillion Dollars.  That's a 39% increase in the National Debt while Trump was in office.

For further reference, Biden inherited a 27.7 Trillion dollar debt to start.  At the end of Q4 2023, the debt stands at 34 Trillion.  That's an increase of 19% over the first three years.

I know that math and facts hurt your feelings, but Trump was horrible for the country before he allowed "them Dirty Democrats to shut down the economy."  Anybody that says "Trump was good for the country" doesn't know the first thing about micro/macro economics or the effects of deficit spending.  Trump hurt us like no other president, period.

Anybody that says "Trump was good for the economy" is actually stating for the rest of us with some sense "I don't know what I'm talking about."

I guess “under penalty of perjury” is just as laughable. Sounds like a liar’s point of view.

What's laughable is how incredibly gullible you are about all things anti-Trump.

I will say you liberals are definitely entertaining, certainly make me laugh.

sure I can.  Countless polls have shown it.  Common sense dictates it, as does Biden's sub 35% approval rate.  But hey, lets run the one guy who can muster up some energy on the left!

Are these the same polls that showed hillary winning by a landslide?

And we're lectured about how they're all the same, lol.

it's a tie.  what's hilarious is the superiority complex both sides have about it.  I honestly can't decide what's worse: the left pretending biden is good, or the right pretending that if Trump doesn't win it's somehow the left's fault more than their own for not picking literally any other candidate, which would've resulted into a cakewalk into the oval office.

Nonsense, no cakewalks for Republican candidates.

As soon as they are the candidate, they become racist, misogynistic, homophobic, xenophobic crooks.

You can't make or prove that argument at all.

If the 2020 election was so called rigged. What makes you guys think Trump is going to win in 2024? Will that election be rigged as well?

I have no idea if Trump will win or not, never said I did.

All I know is when I'm presented with the choice of Trump or the idiot biden and his idiot sidekick, I'm voting for Trump.

  13. 21 minutes ago, CardinalBacker said:

    I disagree.

I agree that the left is sorry... I just believe that at this point, the right is sorrier.

Biden wins bigly again.  Mark it down.

You can disagree all you want but the results are right in front of you, a vote for biden is harmful to the country and a vote for Trump is good for the country, there is absolutely no debate on it.

One side votes based on results and the other side votes on emotion, that's our problem, no candidate can fix that.

Look at the pro-hamas, ant-Israel idiots we have protesting in this country, you think a candidate will change that?

You're wasting your time trying to fix our problems with the wrong solution, our problem is the voters, not the candidates.

Here's more garbage from Biden... this will be catastrophic for businesses and investors.  This should not happen.

And to head it off, the Rs nominated someone who's already proven that he can't beat Biden in the general election.

You tell me who's dumber... the people that keep electing Biden, or the people who won't nominate someone who can beat Biden?

Combine that with the fact that MAGAs in the House are preparing to oust another speaker (which proves that the Rs have no business leading in the House), and it's all but certain that the Dems will hold the Presidency and both houses of Congress after 2024. But the people who keep nominating and electing R candidates who can't win complain that the other side is dumb.

The people that keep electing biden, no brainer.

    Next question

More lies. Your little box you live in must be insufferable. I guess that is why you try to put others in a little box.

Where do you get off accusing me of believing Covid19 was a democrat conspiracy. Does lying make you feel better about yourself?

He's gotta be a democrat, I say it, therefore it must be true.
