Here is what was accomplished: - $1.8 B Funding for a Texas border wall. - Texas CDC created. - Fetal heartbeat bill. - Balanced budget $250 B. - Strengthened the Texas Power Grid - Property tax reductions. - Best election integrity reform in US. - Toughest ban on critical race theory in the nation. - Churches and gun stores can never be closed by the government in a pandemic or emergency ever. - 10th amendment Texas sovereignty reaffirmed. Arguably the most conservative session in Texas history. Boldest pro life bill. No State has ever set out to build it’s own wall. A giant ‘we got this’ to the national CDC. Showing 49 other states and the feds you can still balance a budget even with 4 million unemployed and a Covid year clean up. Telling the world if you're going to cheat in elections in Texas… We're coming for you. Telling 6 million Texas children… You will never be shamed or told to feel guilty for your skin color. Telling every mayor and County Judge that you will never shut a church down again while you allow Home Depot's and protesters to gather at will with as many people as they want. And telling the world that Texans will never stand for ammunition to be restricted or gun stores to be closed during any crisis. And any city in Texas that ever reduces a police budget from now forward will lose all sales tax revenue collections until they reinstate that budget. I guarantee you every police force in every city across America will know what we just did and the pressure will be on for all of these blue cities to get their act together and respect the blue. Basically, the exact opposite of the White House. The Biden Administration and the rest of the nation should take notice… Texans will not compromise our values, we’ll never apologize for who we are and the freedoms we love. Texas will run Texas. I have a better question. How many players from the 2016 WOS could’ve started on the 2017 Carthage team? Not at RB and not at LB for sure. Ingram just ran for 86 yards on 15 carries yesterday and looked as good as he has ever looked. Carthage has 2 WR that are still playing football at the FCS level from that team. JD was the POY, but Capps is still playing college football at the FCS level. Colbert in the secondary was probably our best player. OL? Come’on man. 4 star Ty’kieast Crawford couldn’t even start on that team. 2017 Carthage had legit DI talent. Which players from 2016 WOS were highly touted prospects? So these conversations will never end. We can go back and forth all day. 2016 WOS was an all-time great team that blew thru a bad schedule (6 out of 10 regular season opponents had losing records). They were absolutely awesome. But just slow down they would beat any Carthage team ever.

That’s not the argument, the argument is 2016 WOS was better than any team Carthage has fielded. All you have to do is project 2020 Carthage vs 2016 WOS on Cal Preps and it has the Dawgs winning 28-19. I don’t think any of us Carthage fans are arguing 2016 vs 2016. I don’t think that’s much of an argument. But to say all of the Carthage teams? That’s asinine.

Yes, that too. We have a small, unathletic team here in Vidor. I only say that because it’s true and I’m fine with it. What this years team lacks in size they make up for in grit and no quit. I shouldn’t say unathletic though cause we got that physical speed.

Maybe you have a different answer to the question I asked you a couple years ago about why the basketball team was ready but the football teams wasn’t? When y’all aren’t plays us I root for programs like y’all, PAM, North Shore , etc., because demographically good sports programs in general benefits your kids more than a place like BH, PNG or even Crosby. A very good argument can be made for BU having the most talent in the district this year and right now you can’t convince me y’all can finish any better than 4th place.

I love the great state of TEXAS!!! Over the the last year I’ve met more people from other countries and states than I ever have. They all have one thing in common, their assessment of Texans. Everyone of them have talked to me about the pride that Texas people have in our state. I just smile and say it’s a Texas thing, stick around long enough and you will understand. TEXAS PRIDE!!!

This is such a bad precedent. If athletes are going to start getting paid then they should pay for their education, end athletic scholarships. Otherwise, they need to remain amatuers until they are finished with college.

I stole the password to my son’s Hudl account. They have all the plays from the BH vs PAM game cut up on offense and defense for the players to study.

IDK how many holding penalties PAM was called for against BH but it sure looks like they could’ve called a lot of them? Watching the PAM offense you can see the qb is an excellent runner and has a nice arm, has some nice receiver to throw to also. Judging from the film the BH d-line outplayed the PAM o-line for the most part though. Would’ve been interesting to see the outcome had BH had someone that could finish a pass rush. Does anybody have the total rushing yardage for PAM last week? I see the 95 yards td pass so I’m guess the qb threw for 400+? When sanders does get those deep balls off I think Crosby’s secondary is going to play them a lot better than BH did too.

I know it’s not absolute but the computer rating (go to cal prep, type in Texas, then the year 2016 and the teams) and it projected the score WO-S 31 Carthage 17.

I just cant understand how we get these head coaches that really dont want to be here. The current head coach applied for several jobs after one year on the job. He thought he could get a job after a playoff blowout. Not only did he try to leave but it was in our district, La porte!! Really!! This guy has no enthusiasm about being the head coach at BU, he has had 3 coaches he brought in leave. The OC left in December bc of the vision of the HC. He has no idea of how to run a program, he made no decisions in Duncanville; a third OL coach with get back duties on game day!! he was on a 35 game losing streak for reason and it wasnt the players!! We as a community has to have more input in the hiring process or we will continue to fail the kids!!!

This will be an impressive win for PNG if they can pull this one off. Tomball probably won’t finish any higher than 4th in their district but they’re a decent D2-6A and are 2-0 averaging 46ppg. They’re coming off a shutout and only giving up 13.5ppg defensively. Not very good competition they’ve racked up those statistics against but it would still be an excellent win for PNG nonetheless. If I was a PNG fan I would gauge where my defense is more based on this game than the previous two.

I wouldn’t make to much out of the Superintendent or the school board or the either coach. Fact is we were a 1-9 type club with our old coach and we’ll probably be 1-9 type team with the new one. It ain’t the X’s and O’s

I think Manvel’s showing against Dickinson proved they’re as good as they’re projected to be. Dropped 42 last week on a squad that’s one of the better big 6As in the Houston area and only lost because of multiple mistakes in the kicking game. Katy Paetow is probably the only team left on their schedule that can stay within 20 points of them. They’ll need to tighten up the defense but I don’t see anybody stopping that run game before they get to Dallas.

Don’t think it would happen but I wouldn’t mind seeing a WO-S/Carthage non district game. I’m an alumni of WO-S and as big a Mustang fan and supporter as there is but I also am realistic. The way the Stangs have played the first 2 games they are no way any match for a team the caliber of Carthage. Game would be over by halftime. Now having said all that, I would still like to see them play in hopes it would show the kids the level they need to rise too if they want to get to AT&T stadium. They need to stay focused and cut out all the untimely penalties especially the false starts and execute the offense the way they are capable of. All roads to state for our region run through Carthage.

I think we are a hesitant fan base. We don't go to State very often and have a brutal region. So when we talk about these games ultimately we are worried about those games against Huntsville, and Fort Bend Marshall, and Maybe Texas High. So we see someone like Manvel and we realize they will have the size and speed like a FB Marshall. Or a Carthage who has a defense very similar to Huntsville. So we are in compare mode and we have to execute to win those games. Now Manvel would likely beat anyone on our schedule, or in 5AD2 minus maybe Aledo. Carthage would beat anyone in our district, IMO. Now We play PAM, if we play poorly again in that one then you'll see people a little worried about this team. Especially given BH is only a couple games away.

This RB is legit. We have half good RBs under Faircloth. The second top RB in our history was under FC. This kid is really good.

Just came too after watching/listening to the pay per view debacle😂 my God I have never seen a game fall apart so quickly when your 5 minutes from OT! I feel bad for Abseck after that game! BH has to get tough and finish a game. How do you give up 4 scores in under 5 minutes? I would not wanted to be on that bus going home last night. Outside of that BH you played tough bringing PAM all the wanted on their home field way better than I expected, so keep that heading into next week. Congrats PAM y’all did what you had to do and most importantly played the last 5 minutes😀. Goodluck next week and beyond I think we both learn form this one.

Tied at 28 with 5:56 left in the 4th with our best Olineman injured. Glad our talent came through because the 'adjustments' on defense wasn't effective when the game was in doubt. Once BH had to pass, our defense shined. Before that, I saw a lot of the Hightower game which is fixable with going with bigger kids on the Dline. I hope this changes because BH laid the blueprint. Crosby will run the Counter-Trey so our defense will have to step up..........

The defense is still more exciting than the RB - I don’t mean our defense will be world beaters this year after just two games. I mean the fact that they can, at a minimum, wrap up and make a basic tackle in the open field is the impressive part. The way we played last year, ANY offense could run all over us. The RB part is exciting too, but if we can just make some tackles we’ve got a chance. And you’re right that BU gave us some favors last night. They made enough mistakes last night I’d be really worried as a BU fan. But there have been years, including last year, where even those mistakes would still have us getting run all over the field unable to get anything but fingers on people.

My point is alot of people are talking about us playing schools in lower districts while saying nothing about 5a doing the same with 4a. It's all the same, a bigger school vs. a smaller school.
