  1. What a run for Coldspring basketball. Duke graduates this year and the all time points leader, Bishop, graduated last year. Historic run for the Trojans.

  2. Looks like Tuesday at Silsbee is going to be a huge game! Lumberton ahead by a game going into Tuesday! Not sure if Silsbee did but Lumberton clinched a playoff spot last night for the 3rd straight year so I know the boys will give it their all once again

    Ain’t It Funny....

how, in vaccines, global warming, fossil fuels, the ozone layer, and countless other topics....believe the science. When it comes, to gender, science is wrong? The left is never consistent with their off-the-wall crapola. I cannot believe how people actually think this way.

  4. Philadelphia Eagles hiring Brian Johnson, a Baytown Lee graduate, to join Nick Sirianni's staff as quarterbacks coach. Awesome!

    This isn’t good.

Not to be rude but I really could care less. I personally think he was a good president but he is now out of office. I wish him the best, I think it’s a bunch of hooey. He basically hurt a lot of people’s feelings, wrecked shop for the Washington DC elitists and because of that they have an axe to grind. The sad thing is the normal American could care less about what happens In DC. Leave me alone, keep taxes low and let me go about my business.

  7. Yep. That’s why I go to M&D Supply in instead of Home Depot a lot of times. It costs a little more, but they ALWAYS get me just what I need.

  9. I can't tell you how many times I've drove across town and passed up 3 other stores just to have "fast friendly service". Just got back. With biscuits and gravy and bourdain balls on top.

  11. I don’t mind self checkout if I have few items... I actually prefer it. One late night they ONLY had self check out, and I had a HUGE basket full of groceries. I got pissed and left the whole dang basket there. Meat, milk eggs, produce, cheese. Screw em.

    Fishing

I beg to differ. This is a great organization for the kids, but this maybe where the problem lives. Many parents/boat captains, and fishing team leaders forget that it is for and about the kids. It has been my experience over the past 5 years (this is how long my son has been involved) that the creators and organizers of this organization place the student anglers first. To them it is all about the kids. Heck, in my son's 5 years of participating he has banked about $2,000 that will go toward college expenses and has only placed in the top 10 twice in 5 years. He has the rest of this year and next to add to that. We tried another organization a couple years ago and got back to SETX as soon as possible. Lastly, for kids fishing (and hunting) is not about what you can win or how much money you can make. You and your kid "wins" everytime they go out on the lake or into the hunting woods. This gives them time away from social media and video games and exposes them to nature which should bring them closer to our creator which is something that we could all use.

From the article: "GameStop phenomenon is reflection of politics, ‘everything is rigged in favor of the elites’. Radio host Rush Limbaugh compared the surging GameStop shares and the latest frenzy on Wall Street to the political battles between the establishment and everyday Americans." [Hidden Content]

  17. If there are no UFO’s. If Roswell never happened. I’ve always wondered why any released information is primarily line after line of magic marker blackouts? Take the Roswell case sequence of events, based on reporting. Initial response from Strategic Air Command’s 509th Bombardment Group, RAAF Captures a Flying Saucer on Ranch in Roswell Region. That press released was done by Base PIO (Public Info Officer) after a Lt. Col, a Major, and a Master Sergeant, reported what they had found at the Ranch. The 509th was the only Unit provided with atomic bombs at the time. Would that Unit have 3 men, with that much experience, commanding units and men, that was so important if they didn’t know the difference in a weather ballon and a UFO? Next day Major Marcel was in Dallas with Gen Ramsey doing a photo op with a weather ballon - and the coverup begins. Decades later, they admit claim it was a “special ballon” from project Mogul. Despite these less than convincing stories, Senator Goldwater was not allowed to see the Top Secret Reports, which I’ve heard are now missing. How convenient. I’m not convinced there were alien bodies, but I wouldn’t doubt it. Craft could have been controlled remotely, but I am convinced there was a craft. Amazingly, fiber optics were developed not long afterwards. In 1960 we built the SR-71 Blackbird. A plane so advanced, it still holds the speed records 60 years later. That’s so phenomenal, it almost assuredly was done via reverse engineering of superior technology. But reader, if you believe everything our Govt tells you, sleep secure in the knowledge that there was no crashed UFO, and that we miraculously came up with all the astounding advances following that non-crash. Fiber optics, transistors, fastest plane for 60 years, stealth technology, Moon landing in 69. And those are just a few off the top of my head.

I sure hope not, I'm tired of floods, hurricanes, and evacuating. Hopefully we can be more competitive this season without any hiccups!
