  1. As we start the 2020-2021 season with our football and volleyball players taking to the field and the court tomorrow, we need to realize what we have been given. We have been given a gift......a gift to play, coach, and follow high school football and volleyball. While some might think it should be a given, other states have shown, whether you agree or not, that it is not. By the dialogue on here, that gift is a very precious one, but is also a very fragile one. A gift that can be destroyed by a single misstep by a player, coach, staff member, member of the player's family or even friends or fellow students. We ALL know the protocols...not all of them are pleasant...many don't agree with them. But if we do not follow them and destroy this gift we have no one to blame but ourselves...no politicians, no doctors, no nothing, just ourselves. I may be the eternal optimist, but I believe in these kids, these coaches and these communities to do what is needed to guide this precious gift along. Some don't agree with that either, but I have seen some pretty serious sacrifices made to allow this gift to proceed in the past. Let us root that they will be able to do so this year as well. And let us all pray for our boys and girls, our coaches, teachers and administrators as they lead us long this treacherous path that is the 2020-21 school year.

  2. As you have seen, a lot of the more recent previews have been schedules only. This indicates schools who did not answer our questionnaire. In fact, of the teams left, only 2 schools, High Island and PN-G, have full previews coming. Rather than print information that is available elsewhere on the site, I will just post those two previews tomorrow and that will conclude our previews for the year. My apologies for not being able to provide a more full set of previews this year. Todd

  4. “What we have here is a failure to communicate”.....anybody? My money is on NetCat What these terrorists are accomplishing is nothing. They will create vigilante groups by defunding police and acting like fools. Law abiding citizens will only take so much before they fight back. I can promise you this will happen.

  5. He won't have three funerals. He won't be flown all over the United States. He won't lie in state at the Capitol rotunda. He won't get much mention in the news after today. He is a black man who was raised by a mother who was a cleaning woman and domestic worker (read that as a maid), and a father who was a barber and a janitor. The senior Cain later worked three jobs to build a house for his family. Herman Cain rose from nothing to become an astute business man. At 36, he was assigned in the 1980s to analyze and manage 400 Burger King stores in the Philadelphia area. His success at Burger King prompted Pillsbury to appoint him president and CEO of another subsidiary, Godfather's Pizza. In 1988, Cain, Ronald B. Gartlan, and a group of investors bought Godfather's from Pillsbury. After he left Godfather's, he was on the board of directors of Aquila, Inc., Nabisco, Whirlpool, Reader's Digest, and AGCO, Inc. The list goes on and on. There will be no military honor guards. No presidents giving a eulogy. No media coverage for three hours during prime daytime TV. Why? He was black and successful. He was a business genius. BUT..........he was a conservative in a country where a black man, a successful black man, dare not take that path. Rest In Peace, Sir. You mattered to more people than you know.

  7. At least one of the founders is a trained Marxist. IMO, Essentially a group being duped into doing dirty work for rich folks like George Soros. Very similar to Antifa, which is a duped bunch of young whites. Soros, and the other masters, are using both groups in an effort to start a race war. How sad they’re being used as potential cannon fodder, but the rich folks don’t care about them, or us. All they care about is mayhem and carnage to achieve their OWG or NWO if you prefer.

Pretty Evil and Sick if you ask me! You have 20 year ER doctors saying publicly that hydroxchloraquin works an they get fired for doing so. The drug had been around 65 year’s with a safe track record. I am 52 years old an I am getting to were I don’t even recognize this country. It really Pisses me off!

  11. I respect a public school way more than a private all recruited team for high school sports all day long... I love watching public schools beating these private all recruited teams.

  26. Magic's Jonathan Isaac stands as others kneel before the start of an NBA basketball game between the Brooklyn Nets and the Orlando Magic Friday, July 31, 2020, in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. “I believe that Black Lives Matter,” he said. “A lot went into my decision, and part of it is, I thought that kneeling or wearing the Black Lives Matter T-shirt doesn't go hand-in-hand with supporting Black lives. So I felt like, just me personally, what is that I believe is taking on a stance that, I do believe that Black lives matter, but I just felt like it was a decision that I had to make, and I didn't feel like putting that shirt on and kneeling went hand-in-hand with supporting Black lives. I believe that for myself, my life has been supported by Gospel, Jesus Christ, and everyone is made in the image of God and that we all forge through God's glory. “Each and every one of us do things that we shouldn't do and say things that we shouldn't say. We hate and dislike things that we shouldn't hate and dislike, and sometimes it gets to a point where we point fingers, whose evil is worse, and sometimes it comes down to whose evil is most visible. So I felt like I wanted to take a stand on, we all make mistakes, but I think that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is that there's grace for us, and that Jesus came and died for our sins and that if we all come to an understanding of that and that God wants to have a relationship with us, that we can get kept all of the things in our world that our messed up, The words of this young man should really resonate through each and everyone of us.

    PAM vs PNG

Great opponents during pre-season is always preferred to easy pushover games. Memorial is strong, fast & skilled. I believe that this is a great game to have on the schedule for Bost & our offense. Hope for all the kids, on both teams play solid, stay uninjured and learn from a great matchup to build both teams through the season.

  34. MLB has a pretty comprehensive plan and they are not going to make this season work. The UIL and TEA are throwing stuff at the wall and hoping something sticks. Our criminal attorney general is trying to score political points with a small audience. We should listen to the scientists and doctors. if our local health officials say it's not safe for school to open, that should be what we do.

  35. I had a coworker tell me today that 2 of his friends went to the dr because they were around someone who tested positive for the kung flu. Neither of the 2 were tested because they didn’t have enough symptoms and tests were limited. They both received calls a few days later saying they tested positive. How did they test positive if they didn’t get tested?
