Any scenario that puts them in a 3 way tie gives Vidor a good shot at the playoffs. One of those parts (Ned or PN-G loss) will be a given. The second (a Vidor win) also looks good. It is the 3rd part (Crosby loss) that is the iffy part. Might want to wear some maroon with your black and gold next Friday.

West Brook played as hard as they could, you really can’t beat a Deer Park when they are fighting for the right to get beat in round one of the playoffs.

I give HF maybe one length of the field drive if that. If they score more it's from short field via WO-S turnover. Silsbee gave up like 21 or so, that converts to 3-7 pts vs WO-S. 28 points? I'm gonna write that one off as "It's Sunday watching NFL and drinking beer.....or brake fluid."

Actually if you compare common opponents of the other two playoff teams in our district, the only difference is they beat Splendora but gave up way more points than we did. We both lost to Huffman by about the same. Seems their offense is better, but our defense is better. So i don’t see a blowout happening

About to be play-off time and West Orange-Stark will be the same dominating West Orange-Stark we all know. Get ready and hang on for the ride.

One thing for sure , if HF scores 21 pts against WOS, they will win. WOS got to be physically beat up after playing Liberty. Liberty does a lot of extra stuff in the pile verbally and physically, thats the reason for kids from opposing teams getting un sportsman like penalties. If Liberty makes 4th seed and plays Jasper 1st round, get ready for some ejections at the end of that game.

After that second quarter flash by LCM, the Huffman side was sweating the rest of the game. In hindsight, it was the play calling that stopped that momentum. LCM has the kids on offense to at least compete. But a team can’t ride one player (#13) for a whole game against a good defense. LCM scored on a beautiful pick 6 (if your a Bears fan), caught HH napping on that onside recovery, then scored easily to get 14 on the board. They had some momentum and then the play calling became predictable and one dimensional. Maybe the Huffman defense just made it appear that way.

Give me Baytown Lee to win this game outright.

This game could be interesting if the Lumberton offense can get going. The defense is solid. If they start firing on all cylinders on both sides of the ball, they will win. This game is huge in determining 2nd thru 4th seed teams, given a Lumberton win by a point spread of course. Not sure what the point spread is though. Seeding is huge for making it to the second round of playoffs. 4th seed will likely play Navasota who is coming off 6 straight wins.

You guys are solid this year in all three phases of the game. And I must say I am not much of a band person but I really enjoyed listening to them when y’all played us this year. Good luck in the playoffs! All we can do is hope for a Lee miracle but I must say our defense played lights out this year. I don’t think these standings will change much considering who Is playing who in this last game of the season.

And they said Crosby would have the best defense in this district.

Honestly not sure how this will go. Seeing our boys upset after the loss last night I expect them to come out very hungry Friday night to get that win! Just hoping for a good, no injuries and clean game!

West Brook became the Astros in Games 6 and 7 of the World Series! They completely chocked the game! Hinch should have never pulled Grineke out. If he were to do so, Hinch would have replaced him with Cole in Game 7 but he completely chickened out! No excuse when teams like West Brook and the Astros lose when they were capable of winning the game!

The only time Silsbee, Jasper, and WOS are getting beat is when they play each other. Round 3 will be Jasper/WOS and the winner will play Silsbee in round 4.
