Who do you mean by "every body?" 32 of the 36 pick 'em contestants (88%) picked WO-S. Of the 14 who ventured a guess in the prediction thread, 11 picked WO-S. Tepper, on his weekly video, picked WO-S in this game. I didn't see who Stepp picked. So before you make bold, and WRONG, statements like you did above, you may want to invest in a little bit of reading. BTW, does anybody use a freaking period anymore?

You folks stating that this years QB is the same as boy wonder need to lay off the juice. No way this kid is even in the same league Roschon. Be honest Indians if Roschon would have been on that field last night he would have put this team on his back and dragged y’all to a win. I know you are supporting your QB this year, but it seems disrespectful to the young man in Austin that made you guys the last 4 years to act like he was replaced by the next in line.

Let's make one thing for certain. Foster did not "lead" his team to the semifinals last year. He may have been the QB, but was not the leader. Foster's numbers last night: 4-18, 52 yards, 3 INT's On the season Foster has thrown for 8 TD's and 6 INT's and has fumbled 3 times. (9 total turnovers in 6 games) IMO, Foster has the job because Brisco just isn't ready yet. BTW, Briscoe asked to be moved down to JV because he wants to play QB. I had zero problem with Foster being the starter. I just would like to see Briscoe get some snaps.

Your kidding right? He didn't play against PNG, Newton or Nederland last year because he was on JV. Played very little against BC and Lumberton and got significant playing time against Springhill. That's two hugely different set of teams. How can you compare the first three teams with the second three. That's why there was a difference in our offense and that is the Coincidence.

100% agree. After watching Jasper, Silsbee and WO-S play this season, IMO all three teams were overrated to start the season. Neither have looked to me like a top 5 4A DII team.

Ur absolutely correct.silsbee is a faster ball club. And I can't understand why everyone talking about replacing the QB.look at the situation he is put in. Ur calling jump balls and hoping the wr out jump the corner. As talented as all 3 of them backs.why not run more sweeps or just dump the ball off to them in the flat.they catch ball well.i just don't understand there play calling. Jmo ,I think silsbee QB gets some unfair criticism.

No need to over analyze this one. WH showed why they are one of the all-time terrible programs in the state. Obviously 99% of the teams in the state would run WH off the field. And as this proves there is "no" team in the state that cannot give WH a run for their money. Credit to Burkeville for showing they belong in the conversation with WH.

Agreed. I was curious why that would be considered a trick play. Great call and players executed perfectly. Huffman coaches and players deserve credit for the win. They were the better team and should go 10-0. Lumberton has nothing to be ashamed of. Just have to protect the ball better and keep getting better at executing. No need to press the panic button.

It wasn’t that burkeville put up a fight it was the fact that west hardin had several turnovers in the first half. If they would’ve been playing anyone else it might have played a factor into the game. However, defense was smacking em in the mouth. At one point I didn’t know if the mustangs would have enough left on the field to finish the game. Coach Taylor has those boys playing tuff on both sides of the ball. The team is looking forward to homecoming this week against Colmesneil.

Huffman is a dang good well coached team. They will go 10-0 if they keep that RB healthy. I predict Lumberton winning out in district play.

How is a RB coming out if the backfield on a wheel route a trick play? How about you give the coaches credit for a good play call and give the kids credit for executing the play?

Were trying to get better each week.i have concerns abt our offense.and the defense with its lack of reps that they haven't gotten bcz of the 2 missed games.even lastnite hell our O/C has me concerned with some of the play calls.trying to run up the middle when it's totally clogged up.QB threw the ball well.but seems like everytime we have adversity all we gonna do is throw the ball deep without given ur team a chance. Even our conservative approach when its 4th and 1.and u wanna get in the shot gun.it happened in the newton game and lastnite.even on the goalline 2 and 3 and u try play action pass and lose 10 yds.im sorry in not worried abt silsbee.im worried abt us getting better. And the way I see it....last year in this game Foster was starting for the second time and the first time in a WOS game. This year was his fifteenth start and third time to see WOS. He has the experience to be more consistent.

Dude I promise you BH had nothing to do with Vidor getting new carpet. It had to do with the incompetence of the head grounds keeper who failed miserably at taking over the field from a gentleman who use to maintain the field for at least 20 years are so. A real grass field maintained properly can survive a high school football season. Can’t remember the gentleman’s name but he did a great job. He also did all the field graphics by hand. Also big thanks to the private donors and the taxpayers.😁

One thing I don't understand about our team. We have two of the best soccer teams in the state but for some reason this year we can't seem to find a field goal kicker? If one of the boys can't do it then recruit a girl.

Those are some bold statements. The receivers were playing in the same conditions are the QB so if we are making excuses then that can go both ways. The difference from last year to this year is leadership and chemistry. On any given weekend or day off you could find Roschon and some of his receivers at that field putting in some extra work. I don’t think that is the case this year. Roschon was just on another level but that was last year and it’s time to focus on this year. Hopefully they get it all worked out soon. It would be nice to have a good offense and defense in the same year.

No, Yates was in the pool with Dickinson and beat them by 17 in a game with Mark playing. Neither Mark nor Guidry played in Dickinson’s 2 pt loss to United. Yates lost in bracket play to that school with 15 names in its title.

Lady Pirates beat Dayton 3-2. Dayton had us 2 games to 0 and the Pirates came back to win!!! Awesome win, awesome teamwork!!!

Funny.. I wasn’t there so my opinion would be worthless, but 18 points while not enough to win, I wouldn’t say that’s a horrible day on offense.

WB "Mr. 35" Cameron Mickles. 5'10 (PG) has the ability to get you 30pts. 5rbs. 5assist, 5 steals a game. Still a Fr. though so numbers may not reflect as high this year but skillset is there! BU Traylen Porchia 6'6 Fr. is long an active finishing around the rim is a good one! Also, one of the best shooters around is BU 6'2 Fr. Wesley Yates has a high basketball IQ & is very capable of knocking down 3's from deep to impact a game! Bright futures ahead!

BH is for real this year. It was something to watch last week in Nederland. My favorite by far was BH band. they were AWESOME

I just wanted to say how good of a job the band does every year. In my opinion PNG has the best band around.I enjoy PNG football and the band makes the games that much better.
