  1. Co Champs!? You do realize Huffman lost two district games and Splendora won all their district games right? That would make Splendora outright district champion. As I remember it, y'all were 2nd seed for playoffs and were NOT Co Champion of the district.

  3. We always play bad against Huffman. If we are healthy and focused 7-3. But I think we can beat Vidor but might get out coached kinda like with Huffman. It could be a good year at LCM

  4. The best part of that entire hearing, in my humble opinion, was Jim Jordan’s turn at questioning Mueller. The congressman from Ohio showed one of the benefits of having lawyers in politics (although arguably one of the few benefits). Jordan launched what amounted to a cross examination of Mueller that was pretty darn masterful. I was more than impressed.

  5. If the Bears can stay healthy, from what i been hearing, they should have a winning season this year. 7-3 may very well be an attainable goal. I hope they can, as long as one of them "W" isn't against my Mustangs!

  7. It is disappointing. But I can't blame coaches when they do not respond. My questionnaire is one of the last that coaches receive and I can understand if they are a little weary by the time I get to them. Remember, it is not a required function for any of these coaches to answer any questionnaire, be it mine, DCTF, or any of the other ones that they receive. I just appreciate this information, whatever form it is sent in, from the coaches and only hope that those that don't respond realize how much these are appreciated and choose to do so in the future.

  8. It’s sad to see Coaches not willing to assist you getting information for the team. Fans like to read about their team.

  10. If he was intentionally trying to act senile he was very good at it. His facial expressions at times seemed to portray confusion. Not knowing who Fusion GPS was is a head scratcher.

    Concentration Camps

I'm trying to look ahead. I'm old, & not to well off financially. What happens to me & my wife when we can no longer provide what's needed to live. Bazinga. We sneak across the border, sight unseen. Sneak back in broad daylight. Get apprehended by Border Patrol and put in one of these Concentration Camps. Food, lodging, medical, and soccer - well, cut the soccer, but it's a plan.

  18. Offense will pretty much stay the same from what I know but should be better with everyone having at least 1 full year together. They started out in a 4-3 defensive scheme before switching to a 3-4 for the PA game and then eventually back to the 4-3. So I guess there will be some change by using the 4-2-5...

  19. Not much lower you can go. They will improve, it's just a question of whether it's by 1 additional win or 6.

  20. At least 3 of the former Central coaches listed above will not be coaching with United this coming season and a 4th has accepted an assistant principal position on the campus. If the O-line can give QB Vaughn decent protection, he along with RB Wilson will lead this years offense in scoring more than 18 points a game. The biggest difference will be not as many 3 and outs simply because this QB will pick up a few yards with his feet when nothing else is there. Wilson should have been the starter from the get go last year. There are plenty of targets for Vaughn to throw to. With 7 starters returning on defense and plenty of other kids with significant playing time, they won't give up 32 points a game. The defenses biggest benefit will be from the offense not having so many 3 and outs as last years unit. Last years team was better than 2-8 and I do think this years team will will get more than 2 wins.

    Beaumont United...

I agree, I'm staying positive for the kids and want them to experience some success. The Seniors that were on the team that were from Ozen, never experienced the playoffs while in high school in any aspect of football. The seniors that were on the team from Central hadn't experienced the playoffs since 2016 under TF and most of them were on JV that year. In my opinion, there is no reason why United shouldn't have finished in the 3 or 4 spot except for one reason,... Well every excuse was used to try and justify the 2-8 season, but one that won't be able to be used that I heard the most is that the staff and team hadn't even been together a year...
