Sounds like they are “Land-Locked” and will have no room for growth. Likely to either stay in the same classification or drop down as schools around them grow. Just part of it.

Are you guys sure he played the full game? I recall him being injured very early in that contest.

I felt like Barbers Hill tourney used to be during Christmas break… the WOS one this year was new.. YMBL I felt like used to be different weekend cause I remember years ago Nederland playing in it just like the BH one… this weekend had to many local tourneys, wish they would communicate a little bit better about them, but I’m unfamiliar with the logistics of it and all so may not be as easy to do…

My original post literally stated why Houston area football is in the state it’s in…so what is your argument? -

Nothing. Don’t worry about it. I thought I was clear when explained it. Or maybe you just don’t want to understand. That’s typically how it goes when trying discuss competitive sports and the word ‘demographics’ is involved. Smh. Like I said, it’s good. 😎 -
LOL! Might as well!

I watch them play NB unicorns 😂 last night I believe if PAM secondary make the tackles in open space and don’t give up the deep ball when they take shots when they get a reason to of course. PAM has a great shot in this game. Tackle 22 we win. We have to cover everyone including the TE. Tackle, tackle, tackle!! Hold penalties to a minimum as well. PAM by 10

Soulja what the hell are you talking about? My whole point is this NS team talent wise is probably the worst since Aymond took over & they still rolled through Region 3. Which says more about the quality of football in the Houston than it does NS. So yes it would be different than other years because this team isn’t nowhere near as talented as the NS teams you’re speaking of. A coach on the staff told me earlier in the year that they’re playing with a bunch on kids on varsity that would’ve been on the Sophomore team & JV in a normal year. -
I married into the whole purple cult thing and genuinely love it but I’ve for a few questions. The city line and school district lines are so confusing. You’ve got a lot of Port neches homes that are Nederland school district, a part of Groves that is PA school district, etc. I’ve heard numerous PN citizens opposed to apartments, etc, things to expand the enrollment of our school. While I don’t agree with open enrollment, it’s hard to grow when there’s limited space for people to move to. Is it an old way of thinking? Is it people who are stuck in their ways and don’t want to grow? It almost feels like “we gotta keep the trash out” mentality. Hopefully I’m wrong. Coming at it from a football perspective, it would do them some good to gain about 200 kids and move up to D1. It would make sense logistically. I’m not trying to start any bs, it’s just something that’s been on my mind.

ND has no conference to sue them. Kansas State and Iowa State are being sued by Big XII to the tune of $500,000 each.
