Yeah me either or at least scrimmage… the south Jefferson county schools seem to be very talented for the next few years. PAM open up with Nederland and the next week play PNG would be fun and something to get excited for -
Spent countless hours trying to figure a way out of doing the right thing. And still didn't even after the adjustments if I'm being honest. But it was good enough to come back and get the win last night and hopefully things will work out in the best interest for the team and players in the future
-
9-2 mostly due to a weak schedule. Was on the verge of losing first round to a team we shouldn't have at halftime last night. Thank goodness the coaching staff decided to make adjustments they should have never had to make in the first place. And the reasoning behind doing that in the first place is what bothers me when I ponder it in my mind

I wouldn't be surprised to see Nederland on the schedule the next 2 seasons, both programs got alot of talent coming thru. -
As I said last night, you are the one that is TRASH. To come out and call the men that are coaching those boys trash is totally unacceptable. I don't have control over this, but you should be banned from this website. Those men spent countless hours working with those kids, just like all coaches in this area do. No coach is perfect and they make mistakes , but they should not be called trash. I hope they know who you are because if I were them I would give you a chance to say that to their face. Not hiding behind a computer screen with a keyboard in hand.

They are 9-2 right now. Isn't that winning?? Is this a WO-S thread? -

Thank you, congrats young man and freshman squad. Looks like another great squad coming up the ranks for PAM -
Feel like that's something Tarkington needs to look at too. Our JV is usually decent.

Don't know what they were looking at. These kids have done nothing but win at all levels.

There's another Roberts on that freshman team, Jermire Jr, good baseball player too. He plays Safety from what I see. Freshman RB last name is Flood I believe. Small kid but shifty and speedy. -
I predict OF wont have a jv team if this happens lol
-
Not saying that they're going to make it back to Arlington this year, but if they can bottle up the intensity and heart displayed in the second half, they'll be difficult to stop. Newton is my pick coming out of this region but I'd like to see WV at least play up to and beyond their potential!

Cam Roberts. The freshman group were undefeated -
If the bottom number for 4A DII is 525, I imagine the top number would be around 885-895
-
Woodville played there best football of the year in the second half. Babin was sharp and receivers made plays. Tolar came for a few wildcat snaps to get tough yards.
-
Thats a huge gap in numbers from what would be smallest OF? To the biggest school?

I often wonder if there where will ever be a situation in the near future that 4A D2 has at least one open district. Also, HISD could really assist (first time those words have likely ever been said on here) 4A D2 from a numbers standpoint by not opting up all the schools that could be D2. I have not checked the numbers from this snap shot on them, but the D1 4A district they have at present has 9 schools of which I think 6 had D2 enrollment numbers last alignment. If I am accurate, region 3 has at least 9 teams in D1 that had 4A D2 enrollments. My post is likely useless as HISD will want to keep as many schools together as possible and not have 2 or 3 at the D1 level thus not having an all HISD district. Not sure how similar the D1 districts are to this scenario that house the other large city schools like Dallas, Ft. Worth, and El Paso. -

Got to have an opponent first. Robinson plays Madisonville tonight. -
If so, what reasoning will be explained to the athletes and parents? Of such high moral standards of a school district 🤣

Good win district foe! Congrats

Yeah I’m not sure any of them comment. There may be some lurking. I wish they would talk. But, it’s been hard to get participation from anyone out of the Montgomery schools. And only a few Huntsville people join in, but they’re active enough they make for a bigger presence. The Montgomery schools, I think, would just as soon not be in our district. I agree it’s an unnatural fit, but we might as well talk while we’re together.
