Simply put, our elections aren’t rigged. That’s the reason that no one can ever find evidence of widespread election fraud. Never. Not even once. Now, the losing side likes to cry out “they cheated” whenever they lose. You have to look no further than the SOTU when the Crybaby-in-Chief stated “The democrats can’t win an election unless they cheat” and all of the lesser-understanding voters didn’t disagree. Same thing from Jasmine Crockett earlier this month. “I was cheated.” No, you lost. I get it you-believe that out elections aren’t fair… they’re rigged. Does that mean that Donald Trump legitimately won in 16? “YES!!!” Do you believe that he legitimately lost in 20? “No, they CHEATED!” Ok, so did Donald Trump actually win in 2024? “Yes! The People have Spoken!” So the system works, right? “No! It’s broken! We need people like Ken Paxton to save us from a broken election system!” Losers cry “cheating,” and they known what’s about to happen in November. Whenever somebody is trying to stop people from voting, you can be assured that person will be a white republican, without fail. ALWAYS.

I thought that the crossover could be a big deal, except the Dem turnout was so great in their primary. The type of voter who would be willing to crossover during the runoff definitely voted in the D primary, so I don’t think crossover votes will “taint” the runoff. I also think that Hunt voters wanted change, but didn’t want it badly enough to vote for Paxton in the primary, even though he stood a much better chance of beating Cornyn. I think the Hunt voters will likely stay home or go Cornyn. My position has changed on this one, somewhat. I thought it would go Paxton, then Paxton in a runoff. I like Cornyn’s chances a lot better since he finished decisively first in the primary. But there’s no doubt that a Trump endorsement could really motivate the less sophisticated of our MAGA brethren to vote either way. Until then, I think it’s Cornyn’s race to lose. I’ve read enough articles to decide that Paxton is likely as corrupt as they come. It’s time to stop nominating the biggest jerks simply because they’re the biggest jerk.

Neither of your follow ups addressed my comment. I made no prediction nor refuted any of the current polls posted this thread. I only noted that you apparently scour the internet trying to find another person’s comment that agrees with your own. You can post whatever but none of the claimed blowout of Cornyn has happened. Zero….. So yet again you are referring to someone else’s opinion or poll to back up your beliefs. It is having an opinion and then trying to find a comment that backs up your pre-determined beliefs. That’s okay. I will refer back to my comment a year ago that said it is tough to beat an incumbent no matter what the polls say. To date I have been correct…. you haven’t, not even once. Don’t count your chickens before they hatch. It is like a guy who predicts who will be in the Super Bowl and for 20 years has been wrong every time. Then after two decades of failure, his prediction is correct and he says, “See, I told you!!”. My only prediction to date is that it is tough to beat an incumbent. I gave the example of KBH whose early poll showed that she would annihilate Perry. I am fairly certain that anyone reading this thread would agree that Cornyn to date has been a tough opponent. Let me guess, you will again search the internet high and low to find another poll that has nothing to do with this comment. 😎 And for a side note, I voted early and for Paxton. I don’t think he will be the best choice to beat the Democrats. He carries too much baggage. I don’t believe politically slanted polls however. I also believe that the Democrats might come out to support Paxton in order to eliminate Cornyn. Anyone who didn’t vote in the Democrat primary is eligible to vote in the runoff.

I can see Trump not endorsing anyone after seeing this poll that shows Paxton winning! I’m fairly confident this is the win Trump wants!

They should’ve built a road from his driveway to the Athletic Center in Buna. But he will be successfully at everything he does wherever he is. A great leader of men, who can also coach some damn good basketball.

As I see it, Cornyn lost when he barely beat Paxton in the primary. Historically speaking, when this happens the incumbent usually loses the run-off! I know you’re hoping Cornyn wins so don’t be too disappointed when he doesn’t! 😏

That’s not what the average American hears that doesn’t stayed glued to Fox News all day. They just hear that Trump said the Epstein Files is a hoax which we know they aren’t a hoax. Lots of video and files missing and redacted. Video from his island and mansions in NY and New Mexico Ranch. It just amazes me how you can never be critical of Trump. If it ever came out that he was involved with underage age girls I think you would be devastated and need counseling. I on the other hand would not be surprised.
