  2. After watching some games, PAM HAS to play clean, and they're going to need some explosive plays. I don't see either team being able to sustain long drives all game. SV has more speed than people think. This game may come down to who makes 1 or 2 breakout scores. If both play to form, this should be a very low scoring affair. Games like this magnify Special Teams. I could see 21-24 being a magic number.
  3. There is a good chunk of area north of I-10 (goes about halfway up to Mauriceville) zoned to WOS. There is also part of a neighborhood south of I-10 that is zoned to LCM, which I didn't know about before looking at the map Austin1985 posted.
  4. I posted the website which you can look at every school district boundary in the state. Look at so you won't be so confused
  5. That's the City of Port Arthur. Not PAISD
  6. Today
  7. There's some work around the Spring area on 99 but it ain't enough for me to take 10. 90 to 99 all the way to the stadium
  8. 1. Allen vs Duncanville 2. North Shore vs Lake Travis 3. Southlake Carroll vs DeSoto 4. CE King vs Austin Vandegrift 5. Aledo vs Frisco Lone Star 6. PA Memorial vs Smithson Valley 7. Melissa vs South Oak Cliff 8. Richmond Randle vs Boerne 9. Stephenville vs Celina 10. Kilgore vs La Vernia 11. Brock vs Carthage 12. West Orange-Stark vs Sinton 13. Peaster vs Grandview 14. Yoakum vs Llano 15. Wall vs Gunter 16. Newton vs East Bernard 17. West Texas vs Hamilton 18. Joaquin vs Refugio 19. Gruver vs Muenster 20. Mt. Enterprise vs Shiner
  9. Obviously done before Bridge City was incorporated...... Really a smart move on PA's part years ago......Still doesn't make sense....
  10. I thought everything north of I-10 was LCM and south was WOS….
  11. Depending on what part of Lake Arthur drive, the street it’s self is about 2 blocks from the actual MHS campus…
  12. Multiple schools have been opting up with success. Desoto being the first that comes to mind. Hopefully UIL gets their shit together and we’re back in region 3 with schools closer to us in proximity.
  13. You're correct. One was certainly there, the other was there playing, I think. Both those coaches are glad to be where we are right now. They'd play Sinton in a pasture if they had to, I'm sure.
  14. February is when the district alignments are announced. The cutoffs should come this week.
  15. That’s for district realignment. Cutoff numbers should be out very soon.
  16. February
  17. Some more craziness in district lines, at one time and still may be today, the power house located in orange county was in the PAISD taxing entity??? Go figure that one...
  18. Actually I think two coaches were there. I for sure know one was.
  19. Was alerted earlier in a message about the travel mess thru HTown on the way to Katy on I-10: 'Take 610, Beltway , or 99 around. Construction has either shut that down or reduced it to 1 lane. Better leave early early next Friday' @Austin1985 I know you been out thru there recently, how was it?
  20. PNG turned in 1650. Top of 5A-DI is 2274. So before the number changes that’s a difference of up to 624. They currently miss the DI cutoff by 253. It would be insane to opt up from a division they’ve been succeeding in competing against schools their own size. The 1,000 spread I referred to is the bottom of 5A-DII to top of 5A-DI.
  21. So if a team doesn't win the Big 12 that makes them not any good? You don't beat the teams they have beaten this season or have very close losses to some highly ranked teams and not be good. Who said anything about Lamar winning the SLC? You can be a good team and not win your conference. If that were the case, the NCAA tourney would only have conference champions play. In your mind, no one else would be deserving to play. Might as well have all sports go that route. NFL, NBA, MLB. See how silly that would be. But that's just how you think, silly. Actually, you don't think. You just react negatively. That's what you do. It's your being. Such a sad life. Again, you are completely wrong (again) about TCU. But it's obvious you don't know any better. I hope you seek help soon.
  22. Will TCU win the Big 12. No they will not. Will Lamar win the SLC. No they will not Heck I am reading a post from someone that thought the Astros were good this year. I believe a team could go 0-20 and you would think they are good Hope you are feeling better
  23. If memorial plays a clean game and the trenches play well they’ll have a chance. Secondary gone have to do better as well. SV plays good sound football without all the mistakes. They have experience going this deep but we have some speed that could surprise them.
