That won’t stop the racists. They stopped the election in Louisiana this month after votes were already being cast. [Hidden Content] You can call it whatever you want… the 15th and 19th Amendments were passed by Congress, signed by the president, and ratified by the States…. But the Voting Rights Act was enacted in 1965 to enforce those previous Amendments because the white racists in the South were doing the same thing that the white racists in the South are doing today. It’s just textbook Jim Crow Era racism.
-
Bottom line: Trump is afraid and has tried everything to either eliminate midterms, start a war, or change the rules 7 months before the election. He miscalculated and ended up turning against the people he needed to push his agenda.

Currently, there are 12 states that have no Democrats representing them in the U.S. Congress (across both the Senate and the House of Representatives). [1] These all-Republican state congressional delegations are: Alaska Arkansas Idaho Iowa Montana Nebraska North Dakota Oklahoma South Dakota Utah West Virginia Wyoming [1] And your point was?

Google search: Seven states have no Republican representatives in the U.S. House of Representatives: University of Minnesota Twin Cities +1 Connecticut Delaware Hawaii Massachusetts New Hampshire New Mexico Rhode Island In the U.S. Senate, Democrats and Independents hold all seats in these states as well. University of Minnesota Twin Cities Note: Vermont is a similar edge case. While it has zero Republican representatives, its lone U.S. Senator, Bernie Sanders, is an Independent rather than a Democrat.

[Hidden Content] This is how the law was interpreted and its implementation changed up over 60 years from 1965 to 2025. It’s been recognized since Reconstruction that given the opportunity, white racists would disenfranchise minorities to dilute voting power and therefore eliminate their voice in Congress. The Voting Rights Act was passed to eliminate the practice of redistricting to silence minorities. That was the law of the land until Trump’s puppets on the Supreme Court undid 60 years of progress with one Jim Crow era decision last month. Stop and think about it. Those “gerrymandered” maps that were just thrown out across all of the Southern States? You know, the changes that the racists keep celebrating? “Who-hoo!!! South Carolina has 7 white reps now! There’s no more of THEM!” Those maps were all drawn by Republican legislatures because it was the right thing to do. At least is was the right thing to do a couple of month ago. It’s also interesting to point out that there is will no longer a single black Republican in Congress after this term either. There have been 7,500 immigrants allowed into the US this year, and another 10,000 scheduled for the remainder of the fiscal year. All but three (3) were white people from South Africa. There’s no word as to the race of those three immigrants. But I’d bet they were white, too. [Hidden Content]

Yes… if it were done BEFORE those six justices re-litigated and then eviscerated the Voting Rights Act. Immediately followed by an off-cycle redistricting which is almost unheard of. Americans just voted a year and a half ago and selected their representation. If the same election were held today, you’d have republicans winning 25+ more seats by most estimations… without a single person changing their vote. That’s not a democracy, it’s cheating to steal elections. And it’s not some made-up fairy tale about election fraud that is believed with nary a shred of truth… this one is actually happening, and it’s happening before our eyes. And it will lead to bloodshed, in my opinion.

Robinson wins 8-5 Great run by HF. I don’t think anyone expected them to still be playing.

HF down to their last 2 outs. They aren’t quitting 8-5 Robinson

Gall bladder surgery has become pretty routine, but I pray she recovers quickly.

Sure am glad no one on here can be accused of running their mouth. That would be insane. Trump bows to no one except Christ. Where do you find that garbage? Never mind. I don’t scan Arab sites.

Not upset at all, Everyone is realizing he’s just playing checkers and he’s not even good at that. He’s run his mouth way too much and now it’s catching up with him. Please tell me what’s been accomplished with this war that Trump says we’ve won about 10 times? Smh Can we please put Americans First? Is that too much to ask?

Is there a word you could use to describe a person who celebrates changing the rules to kick all of the minorities out of Congress?
-
NYT is reporting that the deal involves a complete cessation of fighting on all fronts (including Lebanon), all naval blockades lifted by both sides, no Iranian control/tolls in the Strait, plus the US releasing $25 billion of Iran’s seized funds back to them. The nuclear materials issue would be tabled for a later date. That’s what Iran is claiming per the NYT, anyways. There’s no way we’d make a deal that bad. There’s nothing in it for us, except an exit strategy.

3-2 Robinson after 2
-
2-2 after 1. HF had 3 walks and a HbP to give up the runs. They will need to throw strikes to have a chance
-
If he fails on this one, he will have set the ground rules himself. According to his own words, there was only one way he could win. Verify that Iran could never have a nuclear weapon. Everyone else before him failed according to him. What will he say about his own effort? I’ll be curious to see if he’ll have learned anything. But, we’ll see. I really do hope for the best. But, any agreement with this regime is pretty much worthless IMHO. (And almost anyone else that’s ever had dealings.) They will be emboldened.

South Carolina? DCT ain’t gonna be happy. Lol

Well, we can speculate all we want. I spin nothing. It’s what I believe, like anyone else. None of us know what the outcome will be. I like having a positive outlook. We can solve everything on a message board. Lol I do appreciate your military input on the matter. Trump is in a no win situation with everything he does. Gotta be frustrating.

Cuttings it close. lol

We’ll see what any agreement says. But, I don’t believe your premise of setting their nuclear program back decades. That song has been sung before, and it was out of tune the first time. Trump made three major mistakes. First one is a character flaw that he has in general: hubris. Second, he forgot that Israel is a ‘frienemy’—not a friend. Third, he set the rules of engagement before ever starting of no boots on the ground, and was foolish enough to think that would work. As usual, our politicians haven’t been all-in for a long time. I said before, our politicians cause us to lose. Not our military. He will blame NATO, and everyone else under the sun as he begins to be questioned. But, it will be his failure. No one else’s. Anyone that tries to defend him will just be using spin. His foolishness will harm America for a long time, and he’ll have no leg to stand on about Biden’s withdrawal from Afghanistan. He’ll have made America look like the only thing we can handle are 2 bit dictators from 3rd world countries. If Iran agrees to turn over all uranium, and allow inspections, I’ll change my tune. But, I don’t see it happening. I see him coming out and making a big toodoo about a pinkie promise Iran’s made to not enrich for 20 years. He’ll call that success. 13 Service members will have given their lives with multiple more injured all for his hubris and Israel’s manipulations, and there will be nothing verifiable to show for it to call it a success. I was concerned about this operation—under his control—from the very beginning.
