Louisville Slugger OneX
« on: February 26, 2013, 04:45:49 PM »
I heard today it was pulled from the ASA approved bat list and not allowed in high school. Does anyone know more about this? This was not the Xeno I believe which I see a number of girls using.

I just read on NFCA.org that Louisville Slugger has asked the NCAA to remove that particular model (One X) from its approved bats list, due to manufacturing defects effecting the bats durability

Recall notice issued last week, LS is replacing returned One-X bats with 2013 Xenos. Defect is in the transition piece from handle to barrell causing cracks and complete fractures. My daughters not happy, they were stinging the ball. LS expected to have problem resolved and come out with new model in August.

My daughter had her OneX for one week before it broke in half on a dribblers to first!  Waiting on a 2013 Xeno to arrive from LS.  They are also giving a choice of 3 compensatory items which includes the new OneX to be shipped free in August! Nice gesture by LS.

Zeno is a great bat. They break also. My daughters broke within the first month, but they sent her a new one quickly and it has been going for the last year.

My daughter loves her Xeno...she said it's smooth
She said there's no vibration when she hits the ball.
I guess whatever is working is working!
