Vidor won 9-7

Congratulations to Vidor for winning the SETX kick-off classic for the second year in a row with 9-7 win over LCM.  Vidor finished 5-0 and LCM 5-1 on the weekend.

Vidor def. Orangefield today to make it to the championship game (blue bracket).  Unsure of score.
LCM def Crosby 11-7 and Bridge City 3-0 to make it to the championship.
Orangefield was leading BC 7-4 in the 3rd place game at last update.

Crosby def Lumberton by 2 runs in a wild game to win the red bracket.

Vidor looked ok, maybe they will do good in district. LCM will be good

watched that train wreck all night...just wondering who is the coach, lcm person or the orange crush daddies who were sitting in the front row telling her what do. lcm has the talent, but either she got out coached or the daddies did in the front row. It was fun to watch either way.

Yeah they did ok, had a little bit of speed. Pretty good bats, Andrus has turned her bat around for sure, and good pitching. We will see what they can do in district.

I will say Vidor had good coaching, I hope they go far this season.

Should be a good season facc. LCM always tough , not sure about png or Nederland yet.

I just saw too many errors by LCM....which game did you watch?

  I don't think COACHING had anything to do with it. I think Vidor just plain and simply out played LCM from start to finish. Sometimes that just happens. One things for sure, this district race is gonna be very interesting. Vidor, LCM, PNG and Nederland are all loaded with talent as is usually the case. And, I'm sure Livingston has a good team as well.

  I was very impressed by Lumberton through the weekend. They seemed to get better and better each game they played. And, they are VERY young !

  I saw Livingston in a scrimmage and they did not impress me this year.
