FactCheck
Does anyone follow the 7 on 7 state tournament? I know the championships were today, but I was interested to see if there is any correlation between 7 on 7 state champions and actual football state championships. Has anyone seen a correlation in the years past? I will be looking into it this year.

I see teams win 7 on 7 and then never even see them ranked during football season.
AHUDDLESTON
There have been several years in a row that the teams in 7 on 7 have also gone a long way in the playoffs. D3zii and BlackShirts5

FactCheck
As far as athletes are concerned.... Carroll has one of the best safeties in the country (Clemson commit RJ Mickens). A&M Consolidated has a 3-star WR committed to OU (Brian Darby), another uncommitted 3-star WR (Devin Price) and an uncommitted 3-star CB (Nate Floyd). Pleasant Grove has a 3-star RB committed to BYU (Bruce Garrett). The other three teams have no kids that have been rated for the 2020 class. Or a TE or something like that
