Anahuac has always had athletes just not coaching or consistent coaching.

They also have way better facilities than almost any program in SETX regardless of classification and pay scale is closer to that of Houston than the Golden Triangle. Much easier to recruit coaches to come work for you when that’s the case. 

Having good relationships with those guys is the cherry on top.

Congrats to Coach Bennett. They did him dirty at Kville. Looking to see what he can do at Anahuac. I’m sure the Anahuac Kirbyville week will be hyped at both places.

I heard the DC, which was coming from Kirbyville, backed out because of not wanting to move.  Supposedly the Hamshire/Fannett DC is coming.  LB coach from the old regime is staying.

Idk about the whole having better facilities comment , unless that has changed over the past few years.

His former assistant weasled his way into AD to reassign Bennett to jh forcing him to leave a program he built. Now that guy is reaping the benefits.
