STiger85 Posted March 5, 2019 Report Share Posted March 5, 2019 It's the district opener for District 22-4A and two Hardin County teams will go at it Tuesday night. It's the Village Creek Classic as the Silsbee Tigers (5-3) will travel across Village Creek to take on the Lumberton Raiders (1-5-1) in the first game of the district series. The Tigers own a 8-5 record over the Raiders since 2007 with Silsbee winning the last four game. The last Lumberton win was in 2015 a 10-8 victory. Silsbee won both games last year, a 12-2 and 8-0 win. These two teams have been in and out of districts for a long time and their back together again. It's going to be a cold night over in Raider Land. The JV will start at 4:30 and Varsity starts at 7:00. It's the Tigers and Raiders kicking the district season off.
