The Leggett Pirates look to take another step toward the Class 1A State Championship as they take on the Neches Tigers in this Class 1A Region IV Semifinal tonight!

Dennis Stewart's Pirates reached this round with a 54-50 area round win over Nordheim and a regional quarterfinal win over Rocksprings 78-75.  Meanwhile, Neches advanced to this round via a 86-42 bi-district win over Trinidad, a 53-34 win over Iredell and a 48-45 regional quarterfinal win over Coolidge.

Well we are out but great season only class A to beat us

Well Lipan got beat today a little bitter sweet.  However Leggett will be back.   Neches also got beat by Oakwood.   A third place team and a runner up team goes to State in the class A 2 - 4 Regions.  That's unusual.  Great season Pirates!!!!
