Cowboys coming off of a crazy ending victory over the Eagles. Giving them their fifth straight win. Colts coming off of a must win over the red hot Texans, (24-21). Ending Houston's nine game winning streak. Can the Boys continue their winning ways, or will the Colts end another streak.

Poor decision making for one thing. As well as, you have got to hit open recievers down the field. And he has not done that on a consistant basis for the last 2 years. Now, alot of that has to do with his Offensive Coordinators play calling, no doubt. Personally, as far as a person I like Dak. He keeps his nose clean and you don't hear any bad things about him. But, if you're going to be the starting QB for the Cowboys you have to take care of business on the field !

He reminds me alot of Danny White. He has the tools, but makes poor decisions at the wrong time. But, I will pull for him and the Cowboys every week regardless !

I understand because I catch myself gripping about Dak.  I catch myself arguing with friends that if the COWBOYS had an elite QB they would be Super Bowl contenders.  I catch myself saying, "if we still had Tony Romo we would win the Super Bowl." It took me until Monday morning, after we beat the eagles AGAIN, to come to a realization.  Dak is the QB of the COWBOYS and will be the QB of the COWBOYS in the future.

After reading a few articles and watching the game again, I learned something about Dak.  He's a very mentally tough competitor.  He doesn't quit!!!  He keeps fighting!!!  One stat that stands out is he committed his 3rd turnover of the game with 2:00 left in the 3rd quarter.  From that point he was 17-20 for 243 yards and 3 TD's.  I know what you are thinking, why not play like that from the start and the game is over earlier.  I can't answer that but I do know that he found a way to win the game.  I've decided to quit gripping and jump on the Dakwagon.  The COWBOYS have an elite RB, they now have an elite WR, the OL is very good, the defense may just be the best in the nfl and they have a QB who will not stop fighting. A QB that can make the throw, a QB who can move around to keep a play alive and a QB who can and will run.  That sounds like a super bowl contender to me.

Come on and join me on the Dakwagon.  Go COWBOYS!!!

I have more faith in Prescott in not only taking the Cowboys in winning a playoff game, but leading this team in making it to the SB, and even possibly winning a SB, then I ever had in Romo.

I'm always pulling for the Cowboys and Dak (unless I'm rooting for a meltdown that would get rid of Garrett) but I think they made their statement today. A lot had to do with play calling. I don't think Dak ever left the pocket and he also had zero rushes. Neither are good for someone who can be a good mobile QB.

That’s exactly what I expected, people griping about the coaches again. Where was the “fire Garrett” talk over the last 5 games? I guess he wasn’t coaching in the last 5 games since they were winning. It’s just like the people that complain about Jerry Jones, you only here about the draft picks that don’t work instead of all of them.

Here’s what happened today, the COWBOYS got beat! The colts were better today! We will find out what kind of team they are next week vs the bucs. Gotta answer the bell.

Well, that sucked. I was wrong about Luck being sacked, but I was right about us moving the ball and not scoring TDs. The blocked FG was writing on the wall. Defense couldn't stop the run. If a team runs the ball well, everything else falls into place. Like Ty said, Colts were better TODAY.

4th and one at the 2 and we call a timeout. We don't have a 4th down play ready? Geeeeez!

Fourth and one at the one and I predicted the call. No wonder the Colts did too.

With a mobile QB, roll to his throwing side with the option to run. Better than running off left tackle that was already being stuffed all day. Lots of things figure into a loss, but missed opportunities that close are game killers.

How long have you been a patriots fan? Wait, I should have asked if you are a patriots fan or a Tom Brady fan?

    • That there’s not a single thread on the fact that the Republican nominee is on trial for paying off a porn star with whom he had an affair while the future First Lady was carrying said nominee’s child.    I remember back when the dirty, no-good Dems sacked Gary Hart over something similar. Same thing with John Edwards and later Anthony Weiner.    But y’all keep pretending God is on your side, lol.
    • I hear what you’re saying, BUT… that hammers the hell out of poor people and the ones with multiple properties don’t eat any more than the poor ones. In fact, you’d basically just be taxing a lot of peoples’ EBT payments. The government  can’t get ahead by taxing what they’re already borrowing to give to people.    I think well off people should pay more… but the scale as it exists is broken.    For the sake of argument, my mom’s house in Groves is valued at $125k. 2/1/1 on a slab.  Her tax bill is $850/year. Without exemptions, her bill would be 3200. It’s right on JCAD’s website. The problem is this…. If someone tries to rent out an identical house, they’d expect to get, what… $1200/month? If you take into account that homeowners/windstorm/flood is a minimum of another $2k per year, you’d need $5k a year just to cover the taxes and insurance. That’s four months (1/3 of the year) just to cover those costs, not counting a potential mortgage payment. But then everybody cries about how expensive rents are… you can’t tax the hell out of non-homestead property to make up for gifts given to homeowners in the form of big tax cuts. It just doesn’t work.    Ten acres in Lumberton? I’ve got a buddy with 10 acres in Lumberton on HWY 69. Prime property… it’s his retirement plan. Sale it one day and cash in. The CAD decided that it no longer qualifies for a special use valuation (timber) and stripped his “exemption.” His 2023 tax bill jumped from $25 to $22,000…. It’s insane.
    • I’m curious what happened… they aren’t even in full pads yet.
    • They’re going to have win almost all remaining games and get finals of tournament to think about an at-large. When LU was in the WAC, Grand Canyon got an at-large after New Mexico St came out of nowhere to win conference tournament. Grand Canyon had a dang good resume that year. It can happen, but resume wise isn’t in their favor.
