But it's feeling pretty dang good to be a PNG fan right now!  

It’s not a pile of analytical bs, the guy looks at the numbers and gives his honest sometimes brutally honest opinion.  People get their feelings hurt when he states whatever his thoughts are, but he doesn’t run and hide.  Y’all look at what some of these new screen names with 10 posts come here and post all kinds of smack then next week it’s another screen name.  Personally I look the situation in Crosby right now and anyone with half a brain can figure out what’s about to happen.

Hahaha Ahh dang :) I didn't mean that Crosby-PNG is a "rivalry" at the PNG-Ned level. More of the broad definition of the word. Like Vidor's made-up rivalry with Nederland.

The comment about this might be the biggest margin of victory for Crosby.....thats what the stats told him. Sometimes you have to pull your head out of the books and film.

I can’t speakfor him, but man I hope he doesn’t bring up losing the DC on Friday having an impact.  Personally I’ve been watching Crosby since 2012 when my son made varsity.  Every time they’ve face a dynamic qb it hasn’t been good.  That trend continues.

He said he was watching on FB, I figured you were streaming.  I kept talking him off the ledge, kept saying you’re gonna be fine, you’re gonna get the ball last lol.

  That's really tough for those kids. I feel for them. 

I would never pile on the players. They played their hearts out. 

Going to pile on a few fans though. They deserve it.

I just looked at the standings of 11 5A .  If PN-G goes on to win district, probably looking at Houston Sterling or Willowridge....  Possibly Manvel depending on how they finish.  PN-G will mop the floor with the first two and can beat Manvel just like Crosby did.  On a side note, Marshall still lurks and they are scarey good...

Was at the Manvel game. If Manvel plays a clean game they will beat anyone from our district by 21+. Crosby was +4 on turnovers that game and it still took a last second TD to win. Not a knock on any team in this district but Manvel and Marshall are both on a different level.

I would love to have seen that Manvel/Marshall game.  I see Marshall won by 1....

      Really good hire! As I stated previously on this thread, Mike T has been an essential part of WB’s success the last few years & is a student of the game & I have a ton of respect for how he goes about things as a coach. Big on teaching kids how to do things the right way to prepare them for not only basketball but the game of life. He’ll be fine there, my only question is what kind of talent does WB have returning?  Best thing about this situation for Mike T is WB will be 5A for at least the next 2 years, so he should win a lot of games & have some deep playoff runs.

      A Winnie land owner (and others) sued the State of Texas after they built IH-10 a few feet higher in order to help contain storm flooding. Sure enough a hurricane hit and flooded the land. The storm improvements worked!! Unfortunately the state sacrificed several people’s properties in using the interstate highway as a dam.  Richard DeVillier tried to sue Texas under our laws and Constitution and the US Constitution under the Fifth Amendment “taking clause” (eminent domain). After a favorable ruling in the federal district court on the right to sue Texas directly, the Fifth Circuit Court in New Orleans overturned that ruling and said that the DeVlier had no authority to sue Texas directly.  On Tuesday a unanimous US Supreme Court ruled that DeVillier and others had the right to sue Texas directly under Texas law and under the Fifth Amendment of the US Constitution. The case is now sent back down to the lower court. DeVillier and others have not won their lawsuits as the case has not been decided on its merits at a trial. He still has to go to prove his case. What they did win was a unanimous Supreme Court agreeing that he has the right to bring Texas to trial for taking his property with just compensation.
