They lost Mayer and Cunningham to graduation (and to Baylor and UT respectively).  But Baker is easily the best of the bunch.   He’s easily 6-11 if not 7 foot (saw him in July) and has a pretty amazing skill set for his size.   He’s a legit pro-type prospect for sure.  May be the best prospect in the state. 

Not surprised Silsbee beat them though.  Didn’t think they had the guard play to deal with the Tigers.  Two pretty impressive wins (albeit in a fall ball type scenario) for the Tigers this year. This SHOULD be the best team they’ve had and you could see it developing 4-5 years ago.  However SHOULD doesn’t always mean it will be.   But it will be fun to watch regardless.

You said a couple of seasons ago that this season would be their best.  I was neutral on that evaluation then, but now I agree.  Still got to play the season just the same.

No big secret to this,  Baker got tired he was basically playing one end of the court or the  other toward the end.  Tigers had 4 starters the first 2 games plus one other varsity player from a year ago.  The other three were 2 subvarsity last year and one i dont remember playing last year.
