Hmmm....

First of all... Great game and Congratulations.

I learned a couple things last night.

1) Manvel isn't near as good as we have been in the past.

2) Crosby isn't near as bad as I thought they were.

I can think of a million reasons why Manvel loss but it boils down to one... Crosby's will to win a ball game last night. You guys have reason to be proud and it wasn't so much about "WHO" they played but "HOW" they played. Crosby kids fought until the bell and earned my respect. That's 100!

Question, why would anyone think Crosby to be a bad team in the first place?

I wasn't impressed by the film at all. That's not to say they were "BAD" but I've seen better. I saw flashes but nothing that made me think Manvel would lose.

Of course there are better teams but that doesn't make a team to be bad.

I picked Manvel to win but not once did I think Manvel would win because Crosby was a bad team.

Crosby is very good, Manvel is good, just not THAT good.

LOL! Ok... To be in a game with Crosby or anyone else after that many turnovers you have to be pretty good. But I understand where you coming from.

Manvel is very good but they just wasn’t in good shape!!! We condition year round so we stay ready.

You would think that but I’m not so sure about the conditioning this year? That’s usually our strong suit early in the season. Second week in a row we had crucial players cramping up at critical times. Never saw one player cramp up for NC last week. Don’t think I saw one for Manvel last night either. That being said, I do agree we somehow wore Manvel down. We started gashing their d-line in the run game in the second half.

C’mon man, it’s not like y’all were handing us the ball. Manvel had one mishandled exchange which led to a fumble y’all ended up recovering. All those other fumbles were forced. I think Manvel was a little surprised after they bloodied Crosby’s nose that Crosby swung back. In order to make up the talent gap with a team like y’all Crosby was going to have to play physical, force Manvel into some mistakes and capitalize when they did. That’s what happened. Hopefully we get to do it again in December.

*Looking at it, that is Manvel’s first regular season loss since Pearland in 2015.

LOL! If you want me to lie to you and tell you that Crosby was the most physical team we have faced then I will but remember Manvel have faced off with NS, Katy, Westfield etc... We know a little something about true physicality.

Manvel played a piss poor game and was still ahead with one second left. That is after 5 or so turnovers and way too many penalties... If we would have won that game I would feel the same way I feel now. Just so happen we played a team that was good enough to take advantage of it. From a Crosby standpoint you should be excited and view things objectively. Crosby did what they had to do... it's that simple. Congratulations on a big win.

Probably because those d-line men were close to 300lbs. That heat and humidity plus game speed wore on em

Their star running back was our for half the game with cramps last night. #2 who was killing us then #21 started killing us then we stopped him then #2 came back in and I almost cried.
