Just saw where ESPN is showing Texas versus Texas Tech on Sunday at 1:00 in the opening round of the CWS. I've seen on multiple previous matchups that Texas would play Arkansas and Texas Tech would play the winner of Fla/Aub. Do you have any other info?

ESPN has just corrected themselves...shocking for a Liberal station. (My apologies, been on the Political forum and forgot to change modes.) Texas will play Arkansas and Texas Tech will play the winner of Florida/Auburn.

Yeah the brackets are set from the original 64 and never change all the way to Omaha.  The times were the only thing in question.

-6 of the 8 teams were #1 seeds in their Regional

-Only 2 road teams won Supers which is pretty much the average 

-5 of the 8 teams in the CWS have never won the title:
Arkansas
State
UNC
Tech
Washington

-Texas has won 6, Oregon St- 2, Florida- 1

How bout the Italian Stallion, Matteo Bocchi? Dude deserves a ton of credit for a great 5 innings of work in the biggest game of his life half the world away from home. Ready to see them compete in Omaha! Augie said it best, "The world treats winners a lot different than it treats losers".
