Who knows these days. This has been a crazy year. I know about the matchup thing but some of it just don’t make sense. There were several upsets last night in high school and college.

Agree- HJ beat them by about 20 several weeks ago .

Depends on who you ask I would imagine.  Jasper has some talent.  Don't sell them short.

Good win. Jasper has the ability to win almost every game they play, due to the fact they can get hot from the perimeter and shoot it from deeeep. They are also very very athletic, they can be a very good team at times.

jasper always seems to have good looking kids that dont quite reach their potential but you can definitely tell the kids give it all they got. is this a down year for HJ in relation to what they are acustom to ? its funny to even say down when they win district still and go a couple rounds every year it seems

Bad loss. Jasper has lost to Evadale twice this year who no offense isn’t as good as they have been. HJ should not lose this game.

Sometimes teams just have a good shooting night and things go your way. High school and college are the same. Last night SFA lost to Central Arkansas 100-92. Central Arkansas shot 59.3% "48 points from the three.  Probably won't happen again.  If HJ played Jasper ten times ill take HJ eight of those games.

These type games have to give coaches ulcers. When you beat a team convincingly on a neutral court by 23 and then play them again in the middle of a district schedule it's just hard to get the same motivation out of kids. Couple that with Jasper's shooting percentage on the night and you get the upset. It should be a confidence boost for Jasper but the Hawks will bounce back and be fine.

Sometimes a loss like this will get the boys focused for the playoffs. Coach Davis will use it as a motivator and a lesson.

Didn't Sneed not play against Jasper in EC tourney and HJ still won that game by 19?
