This targeting crap is stupid.  I understand the point of the rule, but this is going too far.  It’s not even football anymore.

Aggie DB goes low on a tackle and blows out the guys knee.  I would think most of the players would rather the tackler go high than low.

When did we start penalizing and ejecting players when a flag isn’t even thrown?  That one wasn’t even that bad.  Almost a nudge.  I’m convinced these replay officials just want everyone to know they’re there half the time.

The targeting call today in the wvu game was ludicrous 

Offensesive lineman grabbed Hagers face mask and Hager called for “targeting” and missed by the “replay officials”

I guess they were mad about the hillbilly comment.

Their mascot does resemble Jed Clampit

Exactly.  They can replay a targeting non call on their own but Breckin gets his helmet ripped down and gets ejected.  Can’t call the obvious facemask or anything else.  That chip block Ole Miss just did is far more dangerous imo.
